La Trattoria

Wonderful meal and great service. I would have rated a 6, but there was a patron nearby that kept sneezing very loudly. Not the fault of the restaurant, however did put a slight dampener on the night.

I’ve been a patron of la trotts for years and in all that time I have never had a bad meal. Service and meals are always impeccable.

My favorite Italian restaurant by far. Two meals arrived cold which was quickly rectified. Would have also appreciated being seated inside on this cold night.

We always enjoy and know that you can never go wrong when dining at La Trattoria - as always great friendly service and yummy food.

This was a great experience, as always at La Trattoria. The food is delicious and the service fantastic. The staff show a real dedication to their work and their customers and it really does show. I will continue to eat here in the future.

The food is always 10/10 but the service is always hit or miss. The food is always consistent and make sure you book for a dinner service otherwise you will wait a while.

Booked a table for 8pm. Turned up at 8pm and no tables available. 10+ people waiting for booked tables as well. Staff were in utter chaos and ignored us as long as possible. Website bookings are pointless at this restaurant.

Great Italian restaurant in the city about a 10min walk from the Mall. It’s always hard to know where to go when you are visiting a city but this was a good choice. Popular with the locals too!

We had a wonderful lunch today. My husband said it was the best Marinara he has had. The Seaford was so fresh. My gnocchi was absolutely beautiful. The service was great. Very friendly and cheerful . Our waiter was terrific.

We went on a Sunday night and it was very busy, however the atmosphere, staff, food were fantastic. Real Italian food and reasonably priced. The owner was very hands on also. Loved it.

Great food great service. Girls looked great . A family feeling as all looked after you. The place was full but you still got looked after.

We all loved our meals and the service was excellent. They wee extremely busy, but once inside we didn't even notice! Gorgeous "home-cooked" food that welted in our mouths!

Really good quick service. Staff were polite food was good - however someone was a little heavy on the pepper on one dish. Overall a good experience

It was the best meal by far out of all the meals we have had during our 4 days in Adelaide. As my husband was eating his pizza he said "I don't want this to end". Praise indeed. lovely warm welcome and great service. Pity we are leaving today or we would definitely return tonight.

Excellent food and great service. Went with my family and really enjoyed the pasta dishes. Yes it was a little bit expensive but we’ll worth it!

Food was great, service was WAY less and more lackadaisical than the usual GREAT FRIENDLY professional wait service at the Tratt. The young woman brought a glass of sparkling and left it at the end of the table for the person ordering from the other end, and then when the bottle of wine for the rest of us (4) arrived it was plonked at the end of the table with two glasses tokenly 'filled' and the other two left empty for us to fill and distribute. Dinner was served with equal disdain, just short of dropping them from a height at each place. If we are to return, I'd ask to be seated at another waiter's station. I actually wondered if our waitress was on the autism spectrum.

Great food, fast and friendly service and very consistent. Feels like home. Suitable for either couples or for larger groups. Very good value for money!

Four of us had a most enjoyable night at La Trattoria. We were quickly seated and menus provided by our serving person for the night. The menu contained all the Italian standards but it would have been nice if there had also been some interesting special dishes too. We opted for pizza bread to share and then all had pasta dishes. The restaurant was very busy, so lucky the wine arrived quickly as both the entree and the mains took some time to arrive. The wine was from the specials board, a Nero D’Avola from South Australia, was superb and very keenly priced. The food was also delicious when it arrived with all the pasta dishes being very generous serves. So generous that we couldn’t fit in dessert. All in all, a nice meal, lovely wine and an enjoyable evening.

I was really surprised as normally the food is great but I had Pollo Al Gambero and the chicken was dry and I had only one small prawn in each chicken roll and found part of a wooden skewer in my meal which I nearly swallowed.
