Using imported ingredients from South America, local produce and traditional Uruguayan recipes passed down from the owner’s own parents, Latinoz is a truthfully authentic and seriously tasty spot on Ferry Road. One bite reveals why they are famous for their chorizo burger – chorizo is made in-house from scratch each Wednesday using dad’s secret recipe – but their menu stretches from sweet and savoury bizcochos (Uruguayan pastries) to hearty pasta (also made fresh in-house) dishes, indulgent desserts and an encyclopedia of maté and herbal teas, so there is something to suit any mood.
