Buzzy local French restaurant in Crows Nest with excellent food. The restaurant is small, and once full was a little noisy, but it wasn't that bad. The food is the highlight, especially the baguette (don't order the bread basket, order the baguette). Loved the duck confit and the steak tartare.

Very friendly and attentive staff and lovely atmosphere! Tables seem to be all full at 19:30 despite being Wednesday night. Staff must be extremely busy but very attentive and appear to be genuinely friendly. Very tasty small cup of mushrooms and trifle soup was served before 3-course or 2-course menu - so rare now this “free” appetizer in year 2019 expensive Sydney dining. Would love to go back again for this authentic French experience.

Unfortunately my mum got served the wrong meal (with an ingredient she is highly allergic to and requires an epipen for). This put a damper on the experience that was otherwise good.

This establishment always amazes us. The quality of the food is consistently high end, without the price tag. It is on our local eating strip and we have NEVER had a dish here that has failed to impress us. We go there for our special occasions or just when we want beautiful French food, and could not recommend this place more.

Went for breakfast to celebrate Bastille Day, and it was a lovely meal. Good ambience, great service and just really enjoyable.

The food and service at Le Bouchon are both great. The only slight issue is the noise level in the back room makes it hard to converse...acoustic dampening on the walls would make a huge difference. But the food is great.

We had an opportunity to catch up with friends who we had not seen in awhile and the staff accommodated our "chat time" and slack decision making with ease. The food was excellent and the wine list interesting - an opportunity to try wine we normally don't have. Great evening, great food.

Friendly efficient service - très français! Appropriately portioned and tasty meals. My sirloin steak was cooked perfectly as ordered. Nice touch to be given a choice of tables despite a busy night.

Amazing service followed by amazing food and paired with a fantastic Crozes Hermitage. The liver was the most delicious and delicate I have had, not to mention the French Onion soup. All in all a great evening.
