Lovely food, great service, delicious cocktails, we recommend Locale Mio!

Out of the 4 dishes we had two were outstanding. Poletti (Meatballs) was our favourite, the meatballs were light and fluffy with a wonderful sauce. The Eggplant was also a very good dish, very tasty. The Scallops themselves were nice apart from the sauce they were served with. The special, "Prawn linguine" was a complete fail. Its was gluggy and tasteless. The prawns were not fresh and there was a lack of seasoning in this dish and I was so disappointed. I added the sauce from the meatballs to this dish giving much more flavour.

Great service, warm friendly welcome. Food was good. Music was not good.... Black and white prints on the wall of Italy, black and white photos of Italian families..... all looks great...then the music comes on...modern doof doof crap..... really? and it was too loud...we're trying to eat and socialize.... we can go clubbing later on.... Some ideas: Dean Martin Frank Sinatra Perry Como Adriano Celentano etc etc etc modern Italian love songs ....Spotify has lots of suggestions and playlists :) Doof Doof? errrr NAH! This is the hird or fourth Italian restaurant/trattoria in Perth that nearly has it all going on...except for the music! The previous one I went to in North Perth was playing Bollywood for Christ Sakes!!!! To the point where we paid the bill and left! We visited a lovely Italian Trattoria in Subiaco ( I wont mention the name)...and man.... they've got the whole package.... great food, service, ambiance and a killa Italian music soundtrack... I almost thought I was having dinner back in a quaint little trattoria in Roma :)

We had the Tuesday night 3 course special for $45. Great value and lovely food. The service was very good.

Some of the best, if not the best pasta we have had in Perth. Marinara in particular was really nice and fresh, not the usual rubbery overcooked seafood other restaurants serve. Well done 👍🏼

Service was amazing, food was wonderful catered for all dietary needs. Great atmosphere and very reasonable priced. We were a group of 14 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food! The wait staff were all so friendly!

Great location and excellent customer service. We could hardly fault it from the time we walked in until the time we left. Opted for the special 3 course - entree, dinner, desert - dinner option matched with a recommended Sicilian wine - Bellissimo! Servings were filling (Pizza and pasta dishes) with timely friendly service. The only downside for me was my dessert (doughnuts) were a little undercooked inside. Pannacotta was amazing. The food courses , wine and cocktails were great. One of the best Italian restaurants I've been to. Highly recommended!

We had an excellent experience at Locale Mio for my mum's birthday. The food was delicious, couldn't fault the customer service and the atmosphere was relaxed and warm. We will be back to try more of the menu!

Only complaint was numerous flies in the restaurant otherwise great.

Small Italian restaurant but cosy the staff were fabulous happy staff could explain what every food on menu was the red wine that was recommended by our wait person was the best....Thanks Locale Mio see you again soon.

best staff ever, so kind and helpful, amazing vibes all night

Warm welcome on arrival, shown to a quiet table, good home made pasta, some better than others, eg marinara was good, lamb ragout average. Good wine selection not too expensive. Overall would recommend.

Didn't start well,a waitress unorganised and a menu folder so small even the waiter mentioned everyone complained about trying to read it , 2nd waitress was excellent as was the food itself, lovely sweets! We will visit again.

A lovely meal with attentive, friendly staff. The bruschetta was fresh and delicious, pizzas were generous in size, and the pastas were very tasty. It was busy on a Wednesday night, testament to the quality of the food and service.
