Macchiato Woodfire Pizza and Coffee Roasters

We are returning patrons - love the food, service, and atmosphere. Last night was super busy for a Sunday, but the staff were just lovely and patient, food came out very quickly and was still great quality.

Stuffs were nice. The food was excellent. Reservation was easy to process.

Pizza was good. Risotto portion large & tasty. Panini a bit oily. Chips good. Coffee nice. Price ok- slightly pricier end for casual Italian. Location good. Staff helpful.

We had a lovely brunch prior to seeing a show. Great location to the Capitol Theatre.

The food was great, the main courses for a table of 6 people were served almost at the same time.

Great dining experience Thoroughly enjoyed. Will get back there. Vibrant atmosphere and excellent friendly staff.

As an Italian living in Sydney i was excited to eat a good pizza, but there were mushrooms in my pizza when there shouldn’t have been which ruined the overall flavor, the potatoes were really good though. Than i got a cannolo al pistacchio which was so tiny and cold and didn’t taste like pistachio at all. My friend enjoyed her dinner very much though, maybe i picked the wrong stuff. The staff was so nice though!

Was a very good experience, I had accidentally ordered pork and didn't know the dish had pork but the server was understanding and swapped the dish with one without pork. So was very appreciative of that

Food was great - would have given higher ratings but the waiter and manager were having an ongoing argument with each other throughout our visit........ The dessert was ok - nothing special. Pizzas fantastic - chefs work flat out all evening and girls waiting were fab...... Grumpy waiter and manager having animated 'chats' spoiled the general atmosphere...... Shame

We had a great dinner at Macchiato’s a few nights ago! My husband and I shared a lasagna and garlic bread and it came with dinner salad. It was delicious! The servers weee been friendly and informative!

Macchiato is a great place close to world square for groups to sit in comfort and enjoy delicious Italian food.

We added 6 more people to our booking and the team accommodated all 17 of us without any issues, the set menu was fantastic and allowed everyone to get what they wanted. The food was hot, fresh and arrived all at once. Highly recommend!

We took our friend for Birthday dinner to our favourite restaurant but we were a little bit disappointed tonight with the abrupt (not very friendly) service and the food wasn’t as good as we always had. We were also rushed to pay even though the place wasn’t busy at all. We decided to leave earlier. Not sure if we will back soon.

For a very busy venue the service and friendly helpful staff was a brilliant experience, will go back again sooner rather than later.

Slow to serve, we sat near the serving station, I watched my meal sit at the serving station for some time waiting for the other meal… the waiter tried to deflect this onto me - which was not cool.

Food and ambience of restaurant was great. The margarita pizza was excellent. The pizzas came out quickly. The service was less than average. All meals didn’t come out. Asked several times for missing meals. When missing meals came, waitress dumped them on end of the table despite indicating who the meals were for. No one came back to table to check or organise the bill. Went up to cashier to pay. At least 3 guests were lined up waiting to pay. Waited a considerable time to be served. Gentleman who settled the bill was very friendly and apologised for the poor service and delays. He provided a bag of coffee to take away as acknowledgment for the poor service, this was much appreciated and a kind gesture.

Our first time here and it was totally amazing! The pizzas are Devine so light and fluffy. We were early for our reservation but we were seated anyways despite being quite busy, the place was buzzing. Definitely b back!

Always such a great experience, I booked my reservation, as it’s always completely booked out on the night, the food is just Fabulous, so hot , great portions and cooked to perfection, a real bustling restaurant, I love it, great service, alway smiling and watching if you need anything, I will look forward to my next visit 😁
