We love the food and the atmosphere - but unfortunately the booth cushions are very soft and mean it is uncomfortable to sit on. Would be great if they could be renovated!!

The food was great, the waitress didn't know what gravy is. The seats are a bit low and I found the menu hard to read as I forgot my reading glasses. But still an amazing restaurant.

We (I'm including 5 friends here) have never had a bad experience at Macchiato and throughly recommend it, especially for the pizzas.

Welcoming hospitality, friendly and approachable. Booking was for a Birthday Dinner, the restaurant kept our cake in the fridge for free and even surprised my friend with a birthday song, with lit candle and the whole front of house team congratulating her.

We went to the footy in the afternoon; our team the Swans lost; we dined at Macchiato afterwards and our spirits were lifted! The meal, the chatter, the ambience and the helpful and friendly nature of the staff capped off what could have been a bad day!! How better to finish a day - Tiramisu - wow, great, we’ll be back again.

Our table wasn't the best when we arrived, the seat was broken and for. table of five we had a booth and small round table which wasnt ideal, but the staff went above and beyond to rectify the situation. Mel our server was awesome, her professionalism and empathy makes her an asset toy our business. the complimenetary pizza was appreciated although one of our guests was celiac . Overall the food was amazing and service awesome, from a maintence point of view maybe new seats need to be looked at. But we will be back :)

We were not the first time at the restaurant, but this time we found that the menu was recently changed, and, unfortunately, all food become more expensive. Also, this time we were waiting to order the food for quite some time. Everything else (food quality, atmosphere, service, noise level) was good.

The music was way too noisy. It is a restaurant, not a night club. The food arrived exceptionally quickly after we ordered, but it took a while for the staff to bring us water and to take our order, and then again long to take our dessert order. The staff were polite and helpful. My partner's pizza was good. I had the BBQ seafood salad, and the calamari and prawns were good but the octopus was overcooked, tough and rubbery. I know octopus is typically tougher than calamari, but this was way beyond that -- it was actually difficult to chew.

This was my second time dining here and it was just as fabulous as the first. Staff are so accommodating. We were initially seated where the heater was blowing down on us and I found it way too hot, I asked if we could move and it was no problem. We thoroughly enjoyed the salad, calamari and gnocchi. Will definitely dine here again!

Great woodfire pizza and coffee great service would definitely go back

We didn’t really like the service, as soon as we enter there were two waitresses that laughed at us instead of bringing us to the table. Waitresses/waiters were very serious and not friendly at all, coffee was really bitter and tasted like burnt and they didn’t even bring us the sugar.

It was a wonderful experience and the attention to customer was really nice. ☺️
