It was a little stuffy inside, and was placed sitting near the entrance of restroom. However the food was incredible, love the rainbow maki, and the wagyu on hot stone

Staff are nice, foods are very good and nice presentation. But it is a bit expensive Restaurant around $80-100 pp. Overall is good experience. Thank you.

We were blown away by Machi! The service is so friendly and they are all so sweet and helpful. The food is wonderful with a great variety. Japanese tacos were delicious, we had the prawn (hot) and lobster (cold) and loved them. The lamb main was a huge hit with a generous serving and tasty sauce. The duck was also a generous serving and simple but well cooked and tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to go again as other dishes we saw, coming out, such as sushi, looked fabulous!

The hot stone dishes gave off a smokey, oily fog that needed a better extraction fan. The smell and fog was unpleasant. Our order got mixed up so we had to wait quite a while to finish our food. The Ngiri is perfect at Machi. Overall less than perfect this time..

The Machi Seafood 3 tier platter is a must try especially if you love seafood! The Eggplant chips is beautifully fried up and soft like tofu but not oily or too dry at the same time. Will definitely come back to try other interesting meals in the menu.

Been coming here since it opened and had the worst bday dinner with friends. So disappointed. Ridiculously under-staffed. Food was still delicious but came out like 30-60 mins after ordered for each dish.

Service was great. Food were awesome except the sashimi. It was a bit strange to serve the sashimi at last (after the hot dish). Overall, very good experience and will come back to try other items on menu very soon.

We were heading to The National Theatre , to be there by 7.45. Our restaurant booking was at 6.30. Once we mentioned this to staff we were on a time frame, they were very quick & accommodating. Needless to say, our food was excellent.
