Tasty food. Decent service. Restaurant was busy on a Friday evening. We enjoyed the meal but it was not exceptional. Some of the dishes lacked a bit of vibrancy.

Delicious food, but a bit on a smaller portions for the price. Good service. Would like if there was some nice background music for better atmosphere.

Food are all very delicious. Sashimi are very fresh and loving the Machi tacos! Unagi is very yummy and we wanted to have the unagi don however they ran out. Will be back next time again for sure!

Great food and wonderful service. Absolutely loved the tacos and the BBQ Wagyu beef, flavours were fantastic with rustic presentation with a modern twist. Service could've been faster

The service was nervous from the start, out wait person so obviously new. We had a problem with a wobbly table so we were moved. Then, the table we moved to was wobbly too - the foot had fallen off. My partner fixed that. The remainder of the night went well after a bumpy start. You could feel it.

Could probably sum up our dining experience with... Fresh. So very very fresh. Tastes were well balanced and the presentation was appetizing. Perhaps a little too much rice on the sushi, but I can live with that. Platter had good flavours but lacked that "oomph" we got from all the other dishes.

Fantastic seafood platter and choice of dishes you would not expect from a 'standard' Japanese restaurant! The tacos are also definitely worth checking out and the cocktails go great!

Where to start! The staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful and the food was out of this world. From the presentation to the flavors - just WOW! Every dish was a flavor and culinary delight. I wanted to go back the next night.

Good food with great service. Love the portions of the set menus and 10/10 for the tacos!! I have yet to try more, will be back soon!!

Great service and amazing food. Lots of people taking photos of their food - we were too busy eating it and savouring the delicious flavours. The staff were really good too. Wonderful experience.

Their staffs are friendly. All dishes were so good but just way too expensive and too small in portion. End up paying $235 for two.

Staff is not enough to help every customer though I think they already tired their best. I waited for 10 min for just soy sauce.

Food was great. Staff tend to look at you and acknowledge you, you think you have their attention then they just walk past you and you don’t get service. Sometimes staff said I will be right back but then not return for 10+ minutes.

Machi is our favourite Japanese restaurant. The food varies from good to great and the service is usually friendly and efficient. Last night wasn't the most polished but we will still keep coming back.

Like the sushi taco!! The okamase was easy choice if you’d like to try a range of food. And the big platter was yum and tasty

Always fresh and enjoyable to eat at Machi. The salmon sashimi and tuna sashimi are very fresh .. tried the new black chicken karrage but not a favourite.

we like the taco platter and the 48hr beef short rib, but very disappointed that they dont have the uni risotto that day -- a friend strongly recommended it.

Good food and service. Very friendly staff. Sushi was fresh and everything tasted delicious. The only negative was the price. It was a little bit expensive for the serving sizes.

We have been many times over the years to Machi. It remains a very good restaurant. It has an extensive menu to suit all tastes. The people we were with don't like seafood but we were still able to find a variety of dishes to share.

Set menu is quite nice, very yummy A bit noisy and crowded in the restaurant

My girlfriend and myself were greeted by a very helpful staff and the whole night out was great. Food was fantactis and fresh ingredients were being used and the service by staffs were great.

Air conditioner broken on a very hot night and they wouldn’t open the doors. Five served entree and waited for the other for 20 minutes. No one could give us an update. I think they had forgotten one entree. Otherwise food was very good.

Very unusual and interesting food that was beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. The tacos were outstanding. We both enjoyed the aromatic tastes and found it difficult to choose our meals.

We had a lovely dining experience last Saturday night. The service was prompt and friendly and the food was presented well and very tasty. I would love to try their banquet next time. Well worth a visit!

Sashimi was fresh, food was well presented. We had the seafood platter for 2. Lots of variety on the platter. Will definitely be back to try other dishes.

Food was great but there was no service at all. We had to ask to place our order, drinks came after the meals. I would think twice going back

We had a great experience at Machi. We ordered the Abalone as starter and the Seafood platter for mains, followed by an interesting apple creme brulee. The food was fantastic. We will definitely be going back again!

Food was good and interesting, reasonably priced wine but service lucked attentiveness. I would expect more professional service at a restaurant of this price level.

Beautifully presented food. Serves arent huge but prices are in line with that. Delicious and interesting dishes. Service with a smile. My only criticism is how they brought the main courses out as they didn't come out at the same time..a bit of a delay. Not sure if they thought we were sharing. Overall a nice night.We would return.

The food is very tasty- intricate flavours & delicious. Servings are small & it is expensive. Great for a special occasion. Recommend the seafood & the tacos are outstanding.

Food was excellent as always, but because the restaurant was filled to capacity, I feel the waiting staff were run off their feet a little. We only ordered a seafood platter for 2, but unfortunately nearly took 1 hour to arrive
