Maruzzella Ristorante Pizzeria

The entrees are small enough for 1-2 people to share. We love the calamari fritti.. The pizzas were nice especially Rustica was delicious.I deducted a point due to the long wait for the doughnut and vanilla gelato. We waited for about 45 minutes and unfortunately the doughnuts were not fully cooked inside. Otherwise the chocolate pana cotta and tiramisu were nice although tiramisu was better value for the price. Come early if you want a quiet table.From 7pm, it gets very noisy and crowded.

Top quality southern Italian food. Never fails to impress. Always eat there on every visit to Perth. It's a great atmosphere and always welcoming staff ensure a pleasurable experience.

Favour food and service ! They were attentive to our requests and made it a special night for all of us. pastas, pizzas and dessert were all delicious ! the little surprise birthday cake made my daughter's day !

Great food and atmosphere. Enjoyed the night, prices are reasonable. Could have done with an additional waitperson but it was busy and overall a great night

Had pizzas (Rustica and the Capricciosa). Staff were prompt and attentive. There was a smokey oven incident (briefly) that while a bit stifling still added to the authenticity. Will be back. Dough and sauce is the best around. Always feel well looked after.

another excellent dinner at Maruzzella - this has to be the best family owned Italian Restaurant in East Perth - the food is great - fresh, very tasty, great service and reasonably priced

Love the feel of this place! Little cosy venue in East Perth which serves simple, authentic Italian food. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area - make sure to book on the weekends!

We eat at Maruzzella often and really enjoy the food and company - but on this occasion one of us ordered the "special" and were shocked to find on the bill it was $38 when the average price of mains there is $20 - $25. I think there needs to be more transparency when ordering "specials" when the price is not declared. What was a cheap and cheeful local restaurant was not so last night.

First time at the restaurant and the standard of the food were higher than expected. in addition to that, the service from staff was great.

Second time we've been here. Even more impressive than the first. Service was exceptional and they were willing to accommodate our requests for changes to the pizzas we ordered. Haven't tried the 5 grain base yet but the regular kind is the best around.

Small - Authentic Italian food & genuine Italian Beer & Wines. Not like most other "Italian" restaurants where the food & décor may be "Italian" - but the drinks are the same old boring brands available in any hotel or liquor store. Good service also.

Absolutly best Italian in Perth but book or miss out.. very yummy kids. Divine Gnocchi sensational pizza and amazing fish... it all amazing. Top stuff.

The food here is very delicious. Service was great and staff really friendly. Price was also reasonable. Would definitely return for more delicious food from the menu

What a great spot, terrific and very caring staff, excellent selection of Italian wines and the food was top drawer. The chairs were not the best, but a minor whinge, overall a very good restaurant that we will be visiting again.

Food was fantastic as usual however one of the mains was forgotten. The 3rd main came out after we had finished the 2 mains that were served. After dinner drinks were also forgotten. Staff were very apologetic though.

Busy little pizzeria with attentive staff and easy street parking for a Friday night. Food was authentic trattoria style and thoroughly enjoyable. Will definitely visit again.

Great well priced local gem of an Italian restaurant, in Bennett st east perth. Can thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting a nice well priced meal in a cosy atmosphere.

Nice pizza dough. Toppings were not as generous as I would expect. Not a cheap option. Music was not nice. Staff is friendly. Decoration is nice.

Great service and atmosphere. Enjoyed the pizza bases but the Margherita was a bit light on the mozzarella. Keen to try other pizzas though. Will be back.

Food was great, we all enjoyed our meals, the lamb was well cooked and the pizza and pasta was great. Will come back again, when we are in Perth next.

Very nice, cozy setting, finding a car park was a bit of an adventure, but once we got in the restaurant we enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere of the place, however we found the choice of dishes a bit plain. I'm sure it goes along with the availability of imported produce. Pizza was really, really good, it didn't make me miss Italy at all. The benchmark, Margherita, passed our little test in full colours.

Another great meal of wonderful Italian food and service. Francesco, the owner & chef, takes the time to personally comes around to greet you and make sure your evening is enjoyable. Great job with the recent renovations.

Fantastic service and food The new winter menu has a great range of hearty dishes and the Tiramisu is a must. Definitely our favourite Italian restaurant.

Great Italian food, friendly service, what more could you want! The restaurant was BYO when we visited, however they are in the process of obtaining a liquor license.
