We had a wonderful experience here. Kids loved it too with the robot bringing food to our table. Staff were amazing and very helpful.

Good service with a smile. Will definitely be back. Food came very quickly.

We have eaten at this restaurant for over 6 years and the food always varies in taste, quantity and presentation. Not very consistent. Our meal this time appeared to be “on the cheap” portion size greatly reduced. The regular sushi/sushimi boat was below average. This is a regular order for us and today the quantity was very low. The food couldn’t have been spread out any more if they tried. It had basic sushi and not so nice sushimi that was not even prepared/cut evenly, it seemed we were served all the off cuts. My sons beef dish was chewy and looked like an entree dish. The restaurant wasn’t even busy there was only 6 tables occupied. For $213.00 we expected a lot better quality and quantity. A real disappointment. You’ve lost us as customers. On the flip side we enjoyed being served by the robotic waiter.

Very bad , wait staff had no idea about anything , they had zero clue what ir where anything was in the menu .food was horrible rice was dry cold and hard will never go here again

The food was very good and the kids loved the cat robots.

Had a booking at 7:30pm but felt rushed to leave by like 9pmish as was asked to pay however the sign on the restaurant says its open until 10pm.

The food has gone downhill unfortunately, which is a real shame as I used to love coming. The cat robot serving the food is hilarious though. Would still go for the entertainment

I don't mind using an app to order, but this restaurant is in a mobile black spot. They didn't have enough staff who were doing their best. Provide free WIFI and then your customer's experience will be a lot better

Overall a really pleasant experience. It was very quiet, and service was both fast and high quality. The food was delicious - and evidently prepared with authentic and exceptional quality of ingredients for a mostly reasonable price point. Great work!

Great food but not-so-friendly staff. The robots are cool but they looked pretty dirty. We always feel that Matsumoto could use larger tables - if you order a fair few dishes to share, there's just no room to put everything!

The food was good but the lighting was very bright which ruined the atmosphere, made it feel like a food court. Prefer how it used to look and feel.

Three of us shared a delicious array of excellent seafood dishes plus vegetarian fried rice.

It was my first time going to Matsumoto. We got to sit in a cozy booth. At the table there’s a code you can scan to do the ordering which is very convenient. We got some sushi and also the chicken katsu curry don. They have these little machines that comes out with your food, so cute! Food was tasty.

It was good and would have been really good except for entrees and mains coming together and although it was rectified it felt a little awkward.

The food and service were very good. We especially liked the fact that there was no noisy/unpleasant background "music", which there seems to be at many restaurants.

Always enjoy our family meals st Matsumoto. I noted that there was a maximum number of 20 diners on Sunday night which meant it wasn’t too noisy or crowded.
