The food and staff are absolutely amazing. Nothing is too much trouble for the wait staff who are always very pleasant. 10/10 for the whole experience.

My favourite restaurant in Sydney, food is always 1st class, i think its a cross between French and Modern Australian, the staff are attentive and lovely, cant say a negative thing about this Restaurant.

The food is amazing but the venue is a bit noisey and they keep the front door open so it was cold, however still one of the best places to eat in Leichhardt.

A delicious lunch was enjoyed this afternoon with 3 friends. The portions were perfect and the price just right! We will be back.

We are a group of retirees who frequent a restaurant once a month for a group lunch over the last three decades. Monte’s three course meal is excellent value for money and it being a Tuesday lunch the icing on the cake - they permitted BYO wine. Excellent wine with really good food, what more can you want. Monte, therefore makes the cut of our list of restaurants for future monthly get togethers.

The food at Monte is exceptional. I had the soufflé for starters again and it was great (especially with the cheese). First time having the pork belly for my main and it was very tasty as well. Quite noisy inside the restaurant but we sat outside which was much better. Plus a great view of Pioneers park.

Very nice french restaurant with friendly staff, good atmosphere and food. Great for any get together or romantic night out. Have been twice already. Would strongly recommend a try.

The food was amazing. I had the kingfish ceviche which was just delicious, and the duck, also very nice. My partner had the scallops and the barramundi both fabulous. The fixed price 2 or 3 course offering is great value for money. The standard is as good as many much more expensive restaurants ive been to. We'll be back.
