Second time I've been to Monte. Excellent food, customer service. Omg that passionfruit souffle amazing.

Amazing meal. Much better than Manu's French restaurant at Rozelle

I am lucky to say that I have been to many fine dining restaurants in the CBD, but hands down, I can honestly say that Monte tops them all. The food is beautiful with top quality service. I have been there many times and the food never disappoints. I would give it 10 out of 10 (or more).

Staff are nice, service was good, food was delicious & the 5% discount for paying cash is a great incentive. Proper air conditioning on a very hot night was also very appreciated for comfortable dining & an enjoyable night out.

Food was very nice. We sat outside even though it was a hot night because it was incredibly noisy inside! Nice French music.

Great quality food and priced very reasonably. Street parking on Norton usually available else on streets surrounding the park opposite the restaurant.

A bit slow in serving a lunch, we took more than 2 hours to finish the lunch of 2 courses

Great service and beautiful food. I have a “thing” about glassware and the wine glasses were perfect! Tiramisu special was “ok” but everything else was excellent. Scallop starter my favourite!

I doubt there is much difference between the breakfast service and dinner service.

This is the best restaurants in Leichhardt, and definitely one of the lesser-known jewels in Sydney's food scene. The food is consistently spectacular and well priced, and the service from the family-run team is second-to-none. No matter how busy Monte gets (and it is popular) you are always made to feel welcome. We've been coming here for years for intimate dinners and group bookings and Monte never disappoints. Also - hot tip, if you want Leichhardt's best pasta, this is it!

As always, Monte delivers on every aspect. The food was amazing, not one dish was disappointing. The service was exceptional and the atmosphere of the restaurant is pleasant and calming.

A very pleasant dinner. Beautiful food, absolutely delicious and dishes well balanced. Service was a little slow, especially between courses. However, I appreciate that the restaurant was busy and it was peak season. Would recommend to others!
