Good food. But Service a bit dodgy (too slow and a couple of mistakes). Drinks too expensive $18 for a small margarita! Lol No Mexican music either..

Another great evening at Montezuma's. The food was prepared quite quickly, and the service was great.

Great food, friendly and fast service. Great for early family mid week dinner, really enjoyed fajitas and guacamole. Have been here a few times and will be back.

Yummy food and delicious drinks. Amazing decorations around the Restaurant and tables making it feel very Mexican. Service took a little longer than expected but overall a great family and friend experience.

friendly and prompt service, nice ambience but the table we were seated at somehow feels very warm after awhile, so warm that we started perspiring and thankfully we had finished dinner by then.

The food was great which it always is although unfortunately they don’t seem to stock quantity of the dessert items and this is the second time we have gone and an item has been unavailable.

We won't come back. Prices are now too high (including the drinks - no more cheap wine carafes) and the food is nothing like what I ate in Mexico. I guess they're too busy to make fresh, cooked-to-order food so they stick to a pre-prepared "fast food" method - which would be okay if prices were 33% cheaper. My taste buds have outgrown these basic meaty flavours (with plain fried rice and refried beans) and crave for more (spices, fresh salsa, authenticity...). It's sad because it's a great looking (and fun) venue and we've been coming here since 1990, but it's time to move on. Hopefully they will update their menu and hire a real Mexican chef - then I would gladly return. Fingers crossed.

My wonderful experience started from the moment I booked it online. Then, speaking over the phone with Jessica to confirm it, incredible service all the time. Once at the restaurant with my guests, I was served like king. Friendly staff (I remember Ana, the new girl and a the kindest waiter ever). They helped me to choose the best options for me and my group. Finally, they patiently waited for us to finish, sorry about that guys, we just did not want to leave the lovely restaurant. Overall, one of my best experiences dinning in Sydney, I strongly recommend it. Thanks, very well done guys!! see you soon ;)

Service took a while but it was a really busy Tuesday and they were understaffed and the food was great. Ooga booga yee yee kfc

Amazing food, lousy service. Took them 35 mins to even acknowledge we were waiting to have our order taken at the table, so no drinks for 45 mins, and am hour wait for our meals. We saw several tables of people arrive after us, and be served with drinks and entrees before us. The waitresses really need to get their shot together. As I said food was amazing, and the guy who was at the cashier was lovely to deal with. Next time I go I’ll be more forceful about ordering drinks literally as we sit down

Great food as always. Really enjoyable experience and very friendly service. If you enjoy spicy food ask for the hot sauce, is definitely not something to be missed

Great food and portions. Perfect for kids and adults! Nice decor and South American music and it all goes down well with a Mexican beer.

Great vegan menu with heaps of options. Great drinks menu with vegan options clearly marked. Friendly staff, super delicious food, and large portion sizes. Would be great for a larger group also.

The food is consistently great. Unfortunately the service is consistently bad. Great vegan menu, great beer selection just really bad service. Always forget items and bring in wrong order

Fantastic food as usual. Some issues with the POS were frustrating at the end but the staff shone under the pressure. If you’re up for the challenge, ask for the hot sauce!

Love Montezuma's - Crows Nest, been there many times. Food is fantastic and atmosphere gives off the perfect Mexican feel. Lovely place to have dinner with a group of friends.

Went there after long time. Noticed that the Portions are getting smaller then what they use to be but the taste is good as always.

This place has a really good ambience and is child friendly. We were very happy with the amoint of vegetarian options there were. Great service as well everyone was so helpful recommend this place for any mexican food lover!

The food was delicious. We had two vegans with us who ordered a vegan entree (dip trio) from the vegan menu, and they brought out the non-vegan one which contained cheese. They fixed it once we alerted them to it, but it should've been clearly flagged as a vegan dish so should not have happened. Regardless, we love Montezuma's and we'll be back.

Good food & good service. The room temperature though was super hot and made it really uncomfortable to sit down and enjoy our food and drink

Excellent service! Excellent food! Large food portions, so come along with a huge appetite! If there are leftovers on your plate, ask the staff for containers to pack them in and take them home to eat.

Food was great, plenty of variety and all the 'old-favourites' too. The decoration and atmosphere was lively and feels authentically Mexican. The sangria was delicious. Always a great evening! We love dining at Montezuma's!

Always satisfied here for very good mexican food and drink. They were very busy with the food and drinks being served in good time , the service was also great.

Yummy and generous portion. Ordered 4 dishes between two people: Full size nacho, 2 enchiladas, and a burrito based on other Mexican restaurants and couldnt finish all because we were too full. But because the dishes were nice, didnt feel disgusted with the feeling.

Had a fab meal. Great service, friendly staff, tasty food and reasonable prices - what more could you ask for? Will definitely come back for more.

Food was good but dessert was a huge let down , chocolate mousse was hard and banana in the other dessert was supposed to be served warm but tasted frozen and was watery and coffee came to the table cold.

The ambiance and customer service of the restaurant was good. The food was also good in taste and quality. The music played was at an appropriate level.

Montezuma's is one of our favourites and we've been many times but this last visit was a real disappointment for us. Our entree's took *so* long to come that we had to go and speak to someone about it. The main meals, of which we usually get those same dishes so we are very familiar with them, were seriously not up to the standard that we've come to appreciate and expect. Normally we leave our plates clean but this time we only bothered with half the meals. We'll go back, but if it's not improved next time it will be the last time.

You can always count on the food here...always enjoyable. The service was great and the restaurant has a nice cosy feel about it and a great decore.

Too much convinient, avoid waiting times! Best service. I would keep using quandoo for future reservations and save my time. Keep up the good work!

Staff were very friendly and I was able to use my birthday voucher. Food was tasty and also a nice ambience. This is a great place for group meals and would happily come here to hang with my mates. Mains are around 25ish per person, and around $35-40 with drinks and dessert.

Great food. Great atmosphere. Although it did take 45 minutes to receive our food. There were 4 tables that arrived much later than we did and they received their meals before us. 2 of those 4 tables even finished and paid for their meals before we got our food. We asked about our meals and they said it was coming next. But meals were still coming out before ours. Staff apologised and offered us free churros and explained they cooked the wrong order and had to start again. It would have been nicer if they took the initiative to let us know before we had to chase it up. At least as they admitted their mistake and tried to deal with it in a pleasant manner.

Very festive and easy with a big group! Most had the banquet but some could have a la carte. Quick service and good food. Will be back!

Good atmosphere and great staff but the food was poor. It started well with tasty cheese dip but quickly went downhill. The tacos were stuffed with cold shredded chicken like you would get on a sandwich. The quesadilla was weird. It was one piece of flat bread with a burger patty, cheese and salad on top. It was sitting in or I could say floating in oil, pretty much the total opposite of what a quesadilla is meant to be. The coconut cocktail was sooo sweet we couldn't even drink it.

Fantastic place, with great food & friendly staff. Love the great decor, very interesting & colourful. Would certainly recommend this for great group get togethers or families.

ALBONDIGAS - Rice and Mexican Meatballs all in the one little iron pan...made it very hard to eat and could of had more sauce as they were a little dry. Not in a hurry to order this again.

Good food / poor service / cool atmosphere. To elaborate - a great variety of dishes at reasonable prices with adequate flavour/ has to ask 5 times for table water then go and get someone to take our food order / authentic decorations and funky layout

Very busy with a large group that ordered just before us, so our food took over an hour. Luckily we booked an early table anyway, and had some starters to tide us over. The food was lovely as usual, and even those in our group who hadn’t tried it before enjoyed it and want to return.
