Montezuma's - Glenelg

Montezumas seems to be the only good Mexican restaurant left in Adelaide. Proper Mexican - not just everything stuffed into a wrap.... Proper Frijoles & excellent Burrito. Thanks.

Service was a little slow and not overly friendly. Nothing was exactly bad but it wasn’t great either

We dined fairly early, so the restaurant was not hugely busy. However, regardless of this, the staff were extremely friendly, and went out of their way to assist us, including our 2 older guests with mobility issues. Beautiful food, enjoyed by all 7 of us. Thank you Montezuma's Glenelg!

Tonight we had a belated birthday celebration with my birthday voucher - join the birthday club if you haven’t already. Great perks that encourage you to come back to celebrate. We were in a hurry so asked for all food to be delivered at the same time and the staff were, as always, lovely and accomodating, with our food delivered in well under 10 minutes. We ate our fill and took our left overs to enjoy for lunch the following day. As always, a great meal.

Although we’ve been here many, many times, tonight we tried something different. We had the taco platter and were able to substitute the salad for the chilli con carne. Delicious, as always!

Been going to Montezuma's restaurants all over Australia since I was a child, it's been a family favourite my whole life, but honestly the Glenelg one is pretty poor, food quality is terrible tbh, I don't know how the nth Adelaide one closed but Glenelg stays open, at least the Nth Adelaide one made food that tasted how it's meant to taste at Montezuma's.... I don't even think I'll be going back again to Glenelg as the last 4 or sometimes have been just as crap. Don't know what I'll do on my bday now, as my whole life we've always done Montezuma's, The Parkdale one as a child, and surfers Paradise which also is gone 😕 But don't reckon I could do Glenelg again, it's not even good, not even a little bit. So sad. 😭

Don't advertise certain meals on your menu on your website menu and when we came here to eat you have that crossed out, so wasn't to happy :( Update your menu on your website!!!

Delicious meal, as always. The team were the busiest I’ve seen them in quite a while and yet the service was still given with a smile.

Everything was delicious although didn't ask about dessert which would have been nice.
