OKAMI Camberwell

Some dishes were better that others. One dish was clearly microwaved as it did not have consistent heat. Parts were cold and other parts warm/hot.

We have been to several Okami restaurants in Melbourne. The food is delicious and the people are lovely, but we prefer the Oakleigh one.

Loved the experience, reminds me of our trip to Japan.

The food was generally good but the teriyaki chicken was too chunky and dry.

Good value. Dumplings were greasier than usual. Eggplant and croquettes were delicious.

Food variety was good - overall good value for money considering it's all you can eat a-la-carte. Service a little slow as I think they were fully booked and some orders were slow to arrive.

We booked for All-you-can-eat. No water was supplied. We asked 3 times over an hour, eventually it came. The next table got 8 people, ordered a lot of drink. They were served quickly.

Staff were very friendly. The atmosphere was great. Above all, the restaurant was clean from the front door all the way to the bathrooms situated at the back. Fair price to pay for the variety of food offered. Would definitely recommend.

Love the food. Waitress very good last night. She was a little aghast at how much we ordered but we actually ate it all - down to the last dollop of wasabi. Best tempura around

The food & girls were great. Service in getting additional things (like drinks & water) was slow & the floor area (in heals anyway) was a bit slippery. However we took a birthday cake and they were very helpful with that Overall fantastic! Thank you

Some of the food was quite tasteless and the salmon did not feel fresh.
