It is not the best Japanese food I have had, however I am happy with the quality of food that I received. Service is reasonable given it is a very busy restaurant. It is a bit noisy due to a birthday party not far away from our table. Overall, I had a great time with my friend and good food.

The staff were inattentive. Food orders took 30 minutes to arrive and came out one dish at a time with five hungry boys almost fighting over food. Not what you’d expect from a buffet dinner.

It was a superb dining experience. The food was awesome and it arrived very quickly after ordering. You can order many items at once so you dont feel like the 2 hours is a constraint which is great. The staff are also excellent and a few maintain constantly high levels of friendliness and heart warming smiles despite how busy it can be. 10/10!

We ordered a beef teriyaki dish and it never arrived .Asked the waiter said he will check but still the dish never arrived at our table .

This Okuma was much inferior to an earlier visit to Camberwell. I presume it depends on chef and management. Service was poor having to attract attention of waiters constantly for service, and they were not that busy. Popular with young people and very good value for money it terms of quantity. A regular remarked that it was an off night so may have been a bad occasion.

We had an early sitting which was great and we were able to get speedy service it did start to get loud by 7.30pm. Enjoyed it menu was nice more various choices would be great also.

Well the food we order never came. Had to ask twice for it and it finally came with the desserts. The poor children were so hungry. This the second time this has happened at this restaurant

The transition between sittings was a disaster. Not enough space for incoming patrons to gather on a cold night, and no apparent control ove clearing out the previous sitting. This might be eased by appointing a staff member armed with a tablet to engage incoming guests and confirm their booking and seating. This would eliminate the number of guests who pushing through to talk to a staff member (in many times a person clearing a table, not an organiser), frustrating those who waited patiently.
