OKAMI - Caulfield

The transition between sittings was a disaster. Not enough space for incoming patrons to gather on a cold night, and no apparent control ove clearing out the previous sitting. This might be eased by appointing a staff member armed with a tablet to engage incoming guests and confirm their booking and seating. This would eliminate the number of guests who pushing through to talk to a staff member (in many times a person clearing a table, not an organiser), frustrating those who waited patiently.

Excellent food & service also great value. Will be going back again. Highly recommend.👍🙏

Food was good. What I didn't like was they took final orders for my dinner 45 minutes before the end of the 2hour booking. Maybe 30 minutes would be better.

Great food, was very noisy at first but then some groups began to leave. Service was okay - bit slow at first but improved towards the end of the night. Good value for money - venue is a little squishy but otherwise a great experience.

the waiting times were only a problem because there where many people there, (because it was a Saturday evening). overall OKAMI is great, i go there quite often and if i had a choice i'd say that coalfield is the best one. because of how many people there are we didn't get one or two of the things we ordered, which was fine because i have a tendency to over order.

Great service and unbelievably delicious food. Some very unique dishes, which tantalise the taste buds. We had a fun evening; the restaurant was packed full of people but the efficient staff keep up with the amazing pace of service. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anybody.
