OKAMI - Footscray

The place was clean and quiet. However there were children allowed to run up and down the only walkway and play in the middle of it. The steak was pretty overcooked with some of the pieces burnt and tasted burnt. We made a final order and waited for about fifteen minutes before we just ended up paying and leaving

It was a great experience. Amazing food worth the price.

A great meal that was good value. No rush to leave the restaurant. Highly recommend.

- miso steak was not cooked thourougly and was quite pink and chewy and not much sauce - some of our order got forgotten and had to ask a worker after 30 minutes where it was and still waited another 10-15 minutes for it -wasn’t asked if we wanted icecream, seen others eating it as we were leaving Overall was okay

Food comes fast at first, then getting more and more slow... At the end have to wait for 20 min just for 1 dish... Lots times everyone else ordered later than use but got their food first... Seems that once over certain amount of dish they'd slow down the service just to chase you away...

I need to state that out of the 20 times I have dined at this restaurant, this would have to have been the slowest service. The food was great as usual but the where very short staffed and care factor zero for the customers.

The restaurant was dark, dingey and empty. The Japanese food was of low quality except for the beef. The ice cream was served in a cardboard container like you'd buy from a street corner vendor. The meal just didn't have a high level finish.

It was sometimes a bit hard to flag down a server, but they were otherwise polite when we managed to get them.

Delicious food, good service but toilet is not really comfortable.

We have previously been to Okami Footscray a while ago and found it fantastic. This time is seemed like there was a lengthy delay in between ordering the food and it coming out fresh. We understand there is a wait time with freshly cooked all you can eat but there were occasions that we had to ask the wait staff where our food was. I did have to send one of the hot dishes back as it was cold. A little disappointing

Great food and excellent service. Nicole was so nice, she served us with a very nice smile.

Shrimp and sushi are both tasty. The environment is good.

Food in general is nothing new. Customer service is good, although the kitchen’s dish order is a little disorganized and not served in order of priority.

All you can eat for the price. Customer service is good, and the desert is excellent.

Father's Day is a very crowded and noisy day to visit, but the food was excellent and we had a good time.

Love the food, great service and friendly staff. Don’t normally come to this location but it was nice change!

Good food but some portions are tiny and/or not as pictured. Staff are lovely but they forgot what we ordered a few times so we had to re-order again. I didn't like being seated close to the toilet, and lastly it does get super noisy when the venue is full. Not worth the price for the dining experience and should be cheaper.
