Whenever my family is in Geelong, we will surely visit this place for dinner. With the help of online booking with Quandoo, we were able to secure a booking on very busy weekend. The restaurant is packed with diners but our orders are coming quicker than we've expected. The quality and quantity of the dishes were really impressive from entrees to mains. We are treated with traditional Japanese cooking. We also love the macha green tea and black sesame ice cream and the hot green tea tayaki for deserts to finish a wonderful Japanese all you can eat dinner. Staff are very helpful and proactively approaching us whenever we have additional orders. Well done Okami Geelong. Keep up the goodwork!

We waited at least half an hour for our food to start turning up to our table. It may have been our falt as we were not sure how your restraint worked.

Food was amazing. The service was below average and being pushed out the door before even finishing eating was disgusting. Desert was bought out before our main meal had even been delivered and waitress got narky when asked to bring it back after the meal had arrived.

Staff, food, service, everything Perfect 👌🏻 Only thing was the group of screaming, squealing, loud mouth kids that had been put on the “kids table” while their parents shouted over them!!! Nobody ask them to turn it down a bit or anything!!! SO RUDE!

Beef noodle dish was very oily but otherwise a great experience

We were seated closest to the door. I know this is a landlord issue but that door does not close completely by itself. As customers came and went only a few would obey the sign and lose the door completely. If not, then a cold draft from outside would hit us and the table beside us. Staff did their best to be on top of closing the door properly but they had to be serving customers of cause. Apart from that, we love going to this restaurant. Highly recommended but see if you can get a table further inside.

Only downside was we were seated beside front door on a very cold night. We booked more than 5 weeks in advance and was therefore disappointed with the table we were given. Otherwise an enjoyable meal and evening.

Staff was friendly. Food was absolutely amazing. Couldn’t fault a thing.

Our 2nd visit and the service and food were perfection. It did get a bit noisy at times when they were particularly busy but yhe place is quite small so it is understandable.

As a first time for two of our party of 4 I was very pleased that they enjoyed the experience. This was the second visit for myself and partner who is vegetarian so we were doubly pleased that his needs were catered for. Loved the seaweed salad and the vegetables with sesame flavouring but the hit of the meal was the squid with its delicious spicy sauce.
