Okami - Narre Warren

Food was a bit too salty. Service was good. The miso and teriyaki steak were well cooked, tender and succulent. The teriyaki chicken skewer was not so authentic in flavour. Overall satisfied with quality and price and would consider going back again.

Seating was much too cramped. Food was plentiful and varied. Service was very good. Certainly not for a romantic dinner for two, more for your family party.

Super fresh Japanese standards done really well. Fast & friendly service. High chairs available & clean bathroom. Glad I made a reservation as it was busy for a Sunday lunch. We’ll def go again.

Fantastic food and service by the team at Okami - Narre Warren. The teriyaki steak is a must! Look forward to going back there soon.

The restaurant was well set out and the atmosphere was incredible. The restaurant has lots of Vegetairan options and the staff are very helpful and kind. I would, without a doubt, eat here again.

Staff where attentive and the food was amazing will definitely be going back. Downside not being notified about no alcohol until we had ordered food but otherwise amazing experience

Food was good but young lady at front counter was very argumentative and little customer experience when we questioned why we were charged for lemon lime and bitters when we had 4 soft drinks on our voucher, 2 were had ordered, when ordering lemon lime and bitters was not advised not included in our drinks and also charged us full price for these rather than the difference. She argued with us stating these were alcoholic drinks which they are not and her arguing spoilt the night as no tact or customer satisfaction for the sake of probably $4 difference but charged at full price of $9.60. She did not like being asked any questions

A Very enjoyable experience. Food was lovely and staff very attentive. We will definitely return and highly recommend to anybody who loves Japanese cuisine !!

Easy to park. Food is generally good. The deep fried dishes were average - felt like oil was old. Friendly staff! Can be quite busy and slows down service. Have to get the attention of waiters to order. Few dishes can be forgotten... Can be noisy if the restaurant is full. But it doesn't feel crowded.

Second time at Okami loved it as much as the first nine of us our children and friends couldn’t eat any more but wasn’t a heavy yuk feeling fresh fast not so fast on the fresh prawns but when we got them they were delicious staff so friendly and willing to help have spread the word to everyone even on face book Thankyou and see you soon Chris Cole cannons creek

Super impressed. Fast, cheap and yum. I hope they get a liquor licence ASAP. Drinks service was a little slow. Book. They were booked out so glad we did

I have never been there before so asked the waitress to explain the way it works. She said...it is a buffet....I had to ask her several times before I found you can oder a couple of dishes to start with and then order more later. I didn't feel there was enough to choose from on the menu as I don't like seafood and was accompanying my husband who likes seafood. There is very very little to choose from in the way of dessert. 3 different types of icecream....and you can't come back for seconds. Very small helpings. Also a tiny cake....again you can't have two. I wouldnt recommend it. I think it is expensive particularly if you don't like seafood. I won't go back there again.

We loved the food and the atmosphere and the food was quick to be delivered in the first hour. However after that initial hour our orders were forgotten, took a long time to arrive and we were even give the wrong orders. We face a similar problem in Frankston where it is always hard to get a waiter/waitress to look at us to take our next orders. I’d love to see Okami delegate their staff better and maybe even have waiters look after certain tables to maximise the best service. Otherwise we are always happy with eating here! We love Okami.

At least 4 dishes we ordered never came, and it was hard to get the waiters attention. Otherwise the food was lovely. When we went to pay I had mostly cash then some on my card but they said no slit bills.. that’s not splitting bills that’s trying to pay....

Was not the best customer service staff were rude and I was charged extra for a drink when I shouldn't have been I would not recommend.

Very busy place Saturday night.service was very good once we started getting served. Great food to be recommended to anyone.we will certainly go again and again
