Okami - Narre Warren

Food was great. There was a lot of dishes we ordered through the new qr code system that never arrived at our table though. Not what you expect for the money you are paying.

We had a wonderful evening, service was great and the food was delicious

The food was not coming, we were ordering and the waiter said the chef wasn’t receiving the order although we submitted it. The waiter was very rude and when we asked for assistance advised he was busy. The food was coming out Cold when they decided to bring it out. Disappointed

The food at Okami was absolutely delicious. The staff, including our waitress and those who served the food, were all lovely – friendly, attentive, and made the experience enjoyable. However, I was quite disappointed by the dessert policy. Despite being advertised as an "all you can eat" buffet, there were unexpected limits: only one fish-shaped dessert and 1 ice cream per serving. For the price we paid, I expected a genuine all-you-can-eat experience across the entire menu, including desserts. A bit misleading and disappointing in that regard

We enjoy the food variety and the tastes and the quick service. We we unhappy to be placed near noisy groups of people with children who were loud and used profanities while speaking. While we understand that people with children have a right to dine out, it would be good if we were asked to be seated in much quieter area away from noise.

Food was fresh and delicious, the service was quick & friendly, and loved the green tea ice cream & cake stuffed with bean paste.

If you order 6 things, only 4 turn up. when order 4, 3 turn up. You are sitting thinking it will turn up as you don't want to order again. When checked with staff they tell us order again, they should improve this if they want customers to pay for wastage. On the eat as much as, there was dessert but then it said its out of Stock. It's a Friday night, should they have other dessert or give us a voucher for next time visit.

Food was amazing just really disliked like the QR code ordering. We had elderly people that can’t do that and it was just too confusing and messy as some orders weren’t going through and needed to do it 2-3 times. Have eaten thee before the scanning and was a better experience.

Charged extra for jug of juice, charged extra to pay by phone, not card, kicked us out after 2 hours even though the restaurant was empty and we had stopped eating. Were going to charge extra $15 per 200g food left on your plate. Will not be going back.

Was ok this time. Booked for my daughter's birthday, no greeting even I wrote in booking, a bit disappointed. Then food somehow might be cancelled before the cut off time (7pm for 5.30pm booking), and we were not told about the cut off time. It wasn't like this a few months ago but staff said it's always like this. Soba noodles were a bit plain compared to last time, extra water mixing maybe? Staff were still very friendly and food got delivered quickly.

High quality food in an all you can eat restaurant was a very pleasant surprise but its clear the message is out there as Okami was packed with people. A great find - I highly recommend everything about this little gem tucked away in Narre Warren.
