Okami - Whittlesea

Staff were very lovely however they struggled with how busy it was. We waited 1.5 hours for a component of our order and often had to wait 20+ minutes for other food. They really struggled. They all looked very stressed and were constantly apologizing because they knew they weren't managing. It's all good and well to have lots of reservations but if you end up having tressed staff and unhappy customers it's not worth it.

Service was extremely slow despite only half the restaurant being full, when food did come out the portions were that small that the tiny plates they come on looked huge, the food was over cooked and at best warm…..the price has gone up but the quality and quantity has dropped, can’t believe how downhill it’s gone since last time

Service was good, food was ok. Multiple items we ordered at different times just never came. Portions were really small in comparison to the last few times we been. Food quality and portions definitely change depending on what store you visit. Don’t think we’ll be back unfortunately.

We love okami restaurants and are regular visitors. Food cook fresh and delicious.

Sorry to say service was very slow, food average and not hot and fresh as you would expect with the restaurant not busy. Very disappointing and we won’t be returning

A quick lunch date, new app to order with a bit tedious but ok once we got the hang of it Staff friendly Table was rocky, (unbalanced) and close to toilet entry Also very close to other table hard to get in and out of seat

Was great service and good food . The only reason i didnt give perfect score is because i would of liked another desert as they are small but otherwise very happy.

Would have liked to have been seated somewhere a bit quieter but food was amazing

Joseph our waiter was very accommodating and friendly. Food was good and atmosphere was lovely.

When we arrived, it took a while to be greeted. We sat at our table but no one told us we had to order via the app. We sat there for half an hour before we found out from another table. Food was fine but the sizes were very small so had to order a lot of the same dish for eight people to have a taste.

The staff were hard to get the attention of, the food that was brought initially was tepid and very small portion size compared to other locations. After no food being brought for some time, I asked for rice and that took 15 minutes to come to the table. They forgot most of our order so that combined with the slow service meant our food arrived 15 minutes before their closing and then the staff reminded us twice they close at 230 despite it being their error we were late. It was not overly busy when we were there so unsure as to what the issue with service was. Wont be back

This okami was okay. The food didn’t always come out fresh but the service was okay too

The food was great but took so long to get our orders. You can’t see on the app what yoU ordered so it was very confusing to check our orders. The staff was lovely though.

It was amazing, kids enjoyed, great drinks, ever had got their choices, potion sizes were accurate. Keep it up team.

I was a bit dubious about the new ordering system with the bar code but it worked really well, also the food was delicious as usual. The staff at Whittlesea are really friendly and couldn’t be more helpful. I definitely recommend Okami Whittlesea

Sitting was good as it was early, however service was a little slow due to less staff

I ate here for the first time last week and liked it so much I brought my friend on Saturday. Food is great with a really good variety. I will be back.

- Staff were great, very Friendly - Food quality was not as good as previous visit, was disappointed. - Long wait times between food and only served one dish at a time. Not adequate for a table of 4 and an all you can eat venue.

We found the service to be ok, ordering on your phone now makes it easier to order what you want and when you want it. Unfortunately some meals came out reasonably quick and some didn't come at all, no matter how many times they were ordered.

ok experience, food doesn't come out in sequence as it's ordered. For example main dishes then 20 mins later steamed rice staff are not overly friendly just scan the qr code and order.

We were a party of 5 and there were 4 other people in the restaurant. We were served quickly and the staff were so lovely like every time we go here. We like to eat here at least once a month if not more, especially if there is a birthday or celebration.

Excellent service, great food, very clean restaurant and value for money, will go again. .
