Great food and service We were extremely well looked after

It was understaffed for the amount of customers so food was being missed, or took a long time to come out. Nothing against who was working there, as they were working as hard as they could.

They have reduced the portion sizes that you get on each plate. There were three of us, but we were only getting portions suited to one to 2 people. I know you can simply order more, However, we had to order 2 to 3 times to get a suitable amount. Just seem silly as this creates more work for them With many more dishes being used and the staff having to take orders for the same thing numerous times over. Service was great as always and the food was delicious

Food was very slow to arrive, some food was cold. Overall very disappointed.

It was so lovely in warm inside, the wait staff we very friendly and checked on the table regularly. Thank you for a brilliant evening (The food is fab of course)

Service was a bit slow and some dishes were served cold or just warm not hot. Some dishes seemed rushed or never made it to the table. Average experience over all.

Won’t be going back to whittlesea. Order of service was terrible. Steam rice came out last after we had finished everything.

I feel like we kept ordering food but we just weren’t getting it, we had 4 kids who we were trying to feed and the same dishes kept coming out. The QR code is just silly. Prob won’t go back as this was the same last time

The wait on the food was long, the dishes came out one at a time and were cold and not great. They have changed their ordering to a QR system, have very few staff working so the whole experience was not nice. Would not go there again.

Food tasted re-heated and not fresh, portions were cold and warm. Lemon lime bitter was flat and tasted like strong cordial flavour. Have been there before a while ago and the food was great back then, but not this time.

Scanning QR code took the social side of a dinning experience away Portions were silly (example: ordered a sushi plate and got 4 bits of sushi on a big plate; 4 people on table was expecting a big of a serving

All our food came out cold, vegetables were hard and raw and miso soup came out just as we were finishing.

We visit Okami Whittlesea regularly and love the variety you get for such a reasonable price. The staff are lovely and know us now. It was our first time dining with the new ordering system and it certainly made service quicker and we received everything we ordered.

Food was enjoyable all was fresh and hot. Just had to wait some time for dishes abut restaurant was busy

We seem to always find ourselves at Okami in Whittlesea because the people know us very well there food is always great

The food is still fantastic however I would prefer to have a staff member take our order. The process has changed since our last visit and you now have to order through your phone. Non alcoholic drinks were very slow to arrived.

Amazing tasting food with great choices available, friendly quick service.

The food was amazing. However, this is an all you can eat restaurant where you order and the dish is cooked fresh. We ordered really simple items for our first two dishes. By the end of the first hour, we had only received one of them. Then we had missing dishes, and items come out super late and not together, for example, something that we wanted to have with rice, we got the rice and by the time we got the dish to go with it the rice was cold. Will be going to the Greensborough Okami in future.

We had a great time, the food was excellent as was the service.

This was my first time visiting Okami in Whittlesea, having previously only been to the Fairfield one. The portions seems a lot smaller than what they were the last time I attended Okami and I found the whole experience to be of a lower standard than what I’ve had in the past.
