Nice enough experience. The staff were very friendly. Food was just Ok though. I wouldn't be rushing back there with so many other options in Melbourne

The customer service was poor. It took over 30 minutes before our order was taken. Average food and portion sizes. The manager's treatment of his staff was appalling.

We had a wonderful dinner celebrating our oldest daughter's birthday. Excellent food and wonderful, friendly service. Parking was easy and a great night all round. Highly recommend Oscar's Table.

Nice food, terrible service, need to sort that out if you want your customers to be happy, got rushed out as told they were closing when we hadn't finished

Poor service and average food. Wait staff were lost and did not understand what drinks we were trying to order. Was charged an extra $3 for any type of sauce on my steak.

We were most happy with the entree and desserts, the mains were a bit too salty, service was ok, reasonable serving speed given it's Friday night.

Food was great, very tasty and fresh. Service could have been a little bit better. Waiters was friendly but we have to flag them down severals of times to place our orders both on food and drinks. I would also recommend to dress warm if you go on a cold night. I had to leave my jacket on all night to keep comfortable. But saying that I would still go back as the food was great 😄

Food was nice enough (maybe a 7 or 8/10). However....not sure if it was just us but the staff were cold and unwelcoming - my wife and I both felt they didn't really want us there.

Although the food was absolutely fabulous, the staff very friendly, BUT they are so understaffed. We had to what seems forever after asking 3 times for water in about 25mins got our own, even after we had given our order at the 15min mark when they came back the first time after being seated, received our entree after about 50mins from seating, and then our wine, (order given same time as meal) then nearly an hour after (even though we had asked for it twice before) received our meal 10 minutes short of the time we had to leave for a concert at 7,20pm after being seated before 5pm ( IT was a pre-concert set meal offer) We spent New Years Eve at Oscars table, and although the service then was slow as well, food was fabulous, but they need more staff on special event nights.. Its, not fair on patrons and certainly not fair on the staff...I shall still try Oscars Table again, but if it doesn't improve, good food or not, I won't return

As I am Lactose intolerant this resturant did not have and alternative desert for me such as a fruit platter or a sorbet. I had to skip the 3rd course meal.

Great service, great food, great atmosphere! We chose to share some different small plates. As a group this gave us a wide variety of food experience - it was great.

Lovely food at a great location and friendly staff, a very enjoyable experience. An ideal spot for pre-game feed or informal and tasty waterside dinner.

Food was great, service was haphazard. We needed to ask for everything and it was quicker to get the jug of water ourselves from the bar. Courses came out in good time once orders were taken and we forgave the services issues because each course was excellent.

A great position on the harbour with so much potential, but to be honest, it was a bit of a disappointment. The waitress was perhaps the worst we have ever encountered. She didn't listen, didn't know anything, didn't remember anything and gave the impression she didn't care. A guy I assume was the owner / chef also served us and was good. Entree was ribs for my partner (quite tasty) and salt and pepper calamari for me, which was unexpectedly crumbed, deep fried and bland. The deal we had meant we were locked in to steak. My partner's was OK, but mine was quite tough. The potatoes and sauce were good, actually, the spuds were quite good, but I think the solitary asparagus spear was a bit cheap... Deserts were forgettable. My partner's lime brûlée was not bad, but the weird combination of bad chocolate ice cream with it ruined it. My mango panacotta was just OK - if they had turned it out of the cup for presentation it might have helped a bit. To be fair, I would have like to have tried other items on the menu - as a Spanish place, I doubt steak is their forte (which makes me wonder why they would choose it as a sales promotion deal) - and some of the seafood dishes sounded good. Doesn't excuse the service though. Had we not settled in to a good bottle of McLaren Vale cabernet and enjoyed each other's company - laughing a lot (often at the expense of the poor service) - the night may well have been worse. I certainly can't recommend Oscar's Table - on our experience it is wasting it's opportunity, and with so much competition around, it needs to lift it's game.

Food was fine, and our coupon deal was great value, but service was not so good. It was busy but we were ignored on arrival. Eventually seated at the bar but never served. Shown to a table, given menus and glasses, but then ignored again. 15 minutes later we had to attract a waiter for the water and to order. Food and value did eventually make up for it though.

The food experience of the restaurant was very delicious but the welcome of the owner/manager was very poor, below standard. Manager did not pay attention upon our arrival, his body language pretty aggressive and unexceptionable. However, the waiter and waitress were pretty friendly and humble. We ended up register our complaint to the owner/manager where he felt sorry for his unpleasant behavior. Not sure whether we will buy or recommend online voucher for this restaurant but definitely wish the owner/manager to improve his behavior with any upcoming customers like us.

The food was overall tasty, but the waiting staff a bit lack lustre. the table wobbled, did not get water until I asked. asked for one medium and one rare steak, got two medium rare steaks? It was all just a bit ordinary.

They were under staffed for a very hot summers day. We were an outside table with no air conditioning. They ran out of 2 mains out of 3 and 1 of the 2 deserts. The service was very slow for a very hot day. Expecially drinks. Good but a little disappointed.

The deal was 3 courses with a steak main. You could choose any of the entrees and deserts which was really good. Thoroughly enjoyed all the courses and the steak was particularly tender. The service was attentive and friendly. My only criticism is the tables for 2 were 2 close together. At times it was quite awkward, the tables were so close. My suggestion would be to move the very large table in the centre of the restaurant over to the wall, so the tables for 2 could be in the middle and given a little more space.

I enjoyed our dinner at oscar table. The sizes of the 3 courses were ok, the meat was nice, soft, and well done as we requested it. The service was good, and we could choose a table outside too as the evening was perfect an outdoor dinning.

Terrible experience at this restaurant last night when went to diner with 4 friends. An entre didn't show up before mains were delivered and then 2 side dishes never appeared with the mains either. They asked 3 time how the steak should be cooked and one beer needed 3 requests before it finally came. Some mains came out from kitchen barely warm. Need I say more?

Really nice food, we had two entrees (salt and pepper calimari and machines) that were very nice. Then we both had the steaks, medium rare, they had rewllyvnice seasoning and yummy chips. Finally had pannacotta and churros. The pannacotta was amazing. Our server was nice and friendly, but the man (we assume was a manager) who seated us was a little abrasive

The service was quite alright, they seated us, brought out the food and drinks quickly enough with smiles. Steaks were amazing! Garlic bread was a bit dry, mostly just felt like I was eating bread itself. Nice restaurant, nice location. Have already recommended to others.

Food was ok, service is extremely slow. Not enough staff. Once they served us the meal. The waiter were no where seen. If we need anything we need to look for them inside the restaurant. We were seated outside, only 1 portable heater for the whole place. The whole group felt very cold. When asked for more heater. Waiter replied. They only had 1.
