Parea Greek Tavern

A place I have come to visit many times. Food is great, service is very good, what more do you want?

This place is definitely an authentic Greek restaurant. The banquet menu is value for money and have come here many times.

Food was great and served quickly and great service by shauna.

It's always a great place to eat however I still don't like the two sitting times. We had a 6pm booking and it felt super rushed as we had to be out by 8pm. This is opposite to what 'Parea' means in Greek, you just can't rush eating and drinking!

I booked a table for Valentine’s Day and felt that it was good value for money, we left feeling very full! The only issue on the night was the music which was disruptive throughout the night. Also, the staff could smile once in a while. They seemed stern and unapproachable at times even though the venue wasn’t full at the time. The food was good and I’d go back but probably to the take-away shop across the road.

Awesome customer service. The staff took the time to stop and have a chat with us and made us feel welcome. The manager was so friendly and funny and looked after us well.

Great service and good food. Loved the pita bread, dips and prawns! Unfortunately, the loukoumades were too oily.

Great food - and something for everyone. Vegan, vego, non seafood, ..

We chose the banquet for 4 people and there were five of us. Every meat morsel was tender and not overly spiced. Everything was very tasty. We even had enough to take a doggy bag home. We will be back.

Best tabouleh and awesome chicken souvlaki. Other food was great too. Service was spot on. Friendly staff and food came quickly. A tiny bit too noisy was my only complaint.

The food was very good however one of the staff members came across as quiet aggressive feeling thee need to share a story of another patron from another night who just happened to have the same name as us. While justified in their actions with that patron I really didn’t need to hear the story & was unsure if she was rolling her eyes at us Or our waitress when we asked for spoons for our ice cream. It was our first visit & we are unsure if I would return.

Overall the food was very good. The waitresses were eager to take the plates from the table, before we had a chance to finish all the food on each the plate. This repeatedly occurred without asking if we had finished, was like we were being rushed to leave.

A friend advised us to have the set menu at $40 per person. The food was plentiful and tasty. Will definitely go back.

We had a wonderful time and a great meal. On the particular night we were there a small wedding function was finishing up and for a little while the noise was high. Still the atmosphere was fun, the service terrific and I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Everything was excellent from service to the most delicious food and great atmosphere - loved the waitresses :)

This place never disappoints. Food is top shelf and staff are brilliant, really can’t fault it all at. It is probably my favorite restaurant in Sydney

We were really looked after and the food was great!

Food was great, service was attentive and friendly however you are so hurried along you don't get time to enjoy your meal. We could only book a 6.30 or 8.30 slot online and the minute we sat down they were there to take our order, we had not even looked at the menu. Food was bought very quickly and by 6.55 we had finished entrée and they were trying to bring out our main. At this rate we were going to be out of there by 7.30. Not a relaxing evening with family and I felt like they just wanted us out so they could get the next lot in. By 7.50pm they had cleared our table and asked us if we wanted the bill. There would be no lingering over a glass of wine here... so we left. I understand restaurants want to maximise their covers and I was prepared to have to leave by 8.30 but the whole evening felt rushed. I think the food was lovely but I would not go back on a weekend.

Can not fault the food or service as always, the consistent high quality shines through. Unfortunately there was a noisy large group in the restaurant who had absolutely no consideration for others dining. We noticed one table request to move away to which the Parea staff accommodated with no issue.
