Love this place, food is amazing tasting, great value and drinks are great to - try the Cajun lemonade Had a bite of the chicken and waffles with candied bacon for the first time and for a dish that I'd written off as being way too heavy/bready it was surprisingly delicious! Order with a side of slaw too

We had a table of 4 and order 2 of the different share platters, and the chicken waffles. The food came out nice and quick and it was absolutely beautiful. It was plenty to share and we also got the trio of desserts. The atmosphere is great and would absolutely come back again.

The food was fast and at a good price. The staff are friendly. We have gone there many times and I'm sure we will go again.

Great place for food, alcohol and music! Last night we didn't stay late; just long enough to go in, have a great burger and conversation!

Love it. The service is really good. The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere. The wait for food is always reasonable and the food itself is amazing.

A unique, authentic atmosphere you don’t find at many places in Geelong. Food was delicious and wait time was minimal even with a group of 6 people. Will definitely be back!

I had the Jambalaya - tasty but probably microwaved rather than fresh as it wasn’t consistently warm throughout. A bit slack for the price- $24. My friend enjoyed her Po’boy. The music was good but unable to be fully appreciated as it was way too loud for the small space and badly mixed - vocals were almost drowned out by the guitar and the drums were overbearing.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food comes out in a timely manner and is delicious. Great atmosphere in the restaurant feels very authentic.

Great atmosphere, great food, great host. Love the vibe, love the set up. Highly recommended. We always take visitors from outside Geelong to Pistol Pete's.

We were seated near the entrance in the window area. The waiter kept going outside leaving the door open and it was freezing! The meals were nice but not wow

Great Southern comfort food, good blues music, everybody dancing and enjoying themselves.... What more can you ask for?! Excellent night out spot in Geelong. Would love to come back when we're in the neighbourhood.

Disappointing. Battered shrimp were over cooked (batter too dark & hard) & obviously not hand battered but from frozen packet. The ‘house made’ baked beans were clearly tinned with some liquid smoke added. Andouillette were actually mild chorizo, which tasted fine, but not expected. Pretty sure the pulled pork was also from a packet. Cornbread was SO disappointing, really dry & crumbly... probably also from frozen. French rosé was really nice though. Would go back again to taste the cocktails.

Our table tried Gumbo, Jumbalaya, pulled pork & southern fried chicken. Everything was fantastic. The service was friendly & fast. The music was fantastic and way beyond what we were expecting. Our favourite cocktail was the Hurricane. Oh! Did I mention the awesome music. 🎸

Always a great night at Pistol Pete’s. Great food, great live music. Always love the Southern Fried Chicken, Okra, and Corn Bread. The Gumbo is also a must try.

We had excellent Cajun food, followed by a world-class performance by Ben Waters on piano and three supporting musicians on sax, drums and bass/vocals. Unbeatable.

Good food, well priced with a good atmosphere. Would recommend any of the meals on the menu. Locally sourced beverages are a bonus. Rocking place

We really enjoy going to this restaurant with friends. Southern-American style food and drinks plus a vood wine selection and they have great music too!

You won't find a better place in Geelong for food, mussic, and a staff that really care about you. Pistol Pete's also very family friendly.

The food was all so fantastic! Funky atmosphere, will deffinately be back to try more of the menu. Great extensive booze list. The fried shrimp and chicken were amazing!

Food was great, service good. But music was way too loud for a Sunday lunch. Had to yell over the table, that’s alright for later on when there is live music but bit much otherwise.

Interesting food and blues environment. Good indoor and outdoor set up.Staff friendly and busy. Some live music in the street outside made it quite entertaining.

Great food! Great drinks! had the southern fried chicken, pulled pork and southern iced tea. Good atmosphere and live music! A taste of New Orleans! Service was good; Music was a bit loud as we sat too close.Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

Cajun burger was not what I expected with a large skin on sausage and other meat dominating the flavour. The fries were very crispy and nice. The hot sauce was very hot and delicious. Price was a little high for a burger at 24$ but it was served with chips so worked out at reasonable value.

Food and service were great, pulled pork was delicious. There was a good choice of beers and ciders. Will definitely be going back as i need to try the chicken.

I like the pistols. And Pete. And the pistols. Pete was there. With pistols. I wonder if his real name is Peter? I will ask Pete next time.

We go to Pistol Pete's often. We love the place and are never disappointed. A recent trip to New Orleans confirmed that the food is very authentic - in fact better. Janine

We had a great meal, wonderful live music with Andrea Robertson she is a very entertaining music act. An overall top venue, will definitely visit Pistol Petes again 😊

Very entertaining music was great and so was the atmosphere. Very important the food well let me tell you it was amazing and value for money & added bonus we had a very helpful & happy waitress nice to have. Rare to find both these days, over all will go back no question asked. Highly recommend to any for good food a bit of fun all rolled into 1. Well done Pistol Pete👍
