Pistol Pete's Food & Blues

Great intermit venue with a great atmosphere , I live about 100km away and next time I visit and stay in Geelong I am going to make it a point to return we had a great night.

Visited here with my wife for lunch as we love creole food. Boy were we in for a treat. Everything that we ordered was amazing and they even catered extremely well for my wife who is a cealiac. Definitely coming back soon!!!

Busy Saturday night an all tables taken, people turned away with no booking. Service was freiendly and efficent and the food good value. Unfortunately our booking was at 6.30 and the "blues" band did not start until 9.30 so we missed out on that, it would have been great to hear them.

Had an amazing night at Petes 😀. The music was amazing and the food pleased my friend who has actually eaten Cajun in Louisiana with it authenticity. We will be back x

We had a very enjoyable, pre-show dinner. "In Ya Hand menu" gets messy but it's delicious! Everyone enjoyed their Burger's and Po Boy's and washed it down with ice cold beer & wine!

The food was pretty good and we didn't have to wait long for it to be on our table. However, the atmosphere was loud and dark and the waiter had the personality of a corpse.

Food is amazing, good price for quality. They were quick in serving the food. Definitely will go back again. May be a big smile will when serving will rate the place higher.

Pistol Pete's rocks!!! Fried chicken is the best and the performing artists were outstanding. Always a very warm welcome. We have been going to Pete's for 3 years, our home away from home.

Food is always fresh & great quality , well presented , staff are super friendly & Pete is always welcoming :) my favorite regular venue to eat at every week. Those Cajun fries keep me coming back for more. Can't praise this place enough :) thank you for the great food guys!

Nice atmosphere :) staff were lovely, food was ok, No band as per website, perhaps they start later. We were only ther until 7pm. Would return

Great service, friendly staff, good atmosphere. Food we ordered arrived quickly but was nothing to write home about. Would try something different from the menu on the next visit. Would have loved some live music whilst we were there, would have made the whole experience even better.

Great food, great venue. Only disappointment was there was no live blues playing! Maybe I just got them on the wrong night. Anyhow, I will be back!

This Quirky trendy laid back bar lends itself to a great night out.I went out with some friends and sat at the window table and as a group of friends walked passed we invited them in to join us for a night of amazing Blues by Wayne Jury...This bar has a relaxed vibe and the cozy atmosphere makes you feel like your at a party with great friends...Well done Pete...

Great atmosphere and fantastic food, staff were friendly. Didn't like the porta loo out the back in the dark, raining. hope it's only temporary :)

Great food. Nice staff and fabulous musicians. Probably go once per week. Great atmosphere. Owner Pete has a love of all things to do with Blues and supports the Blues county both music and lovers of blues music.

Food looked good but the taste or lack of it did not live up to the expectations I had! Service was very good and speedy.

Our 'go to' restaurant when we want a easy night out. Great food, friendly staff, plenty of parking nearby and the meals are very filling.

Consistently excellent food every week I go , staff are fantastic , best customer service. Love every item on the menu, true soul food. Nothing beats those Cajun fries with creolaise 💓💓💓 tried the pecan pie for the first time and fell into a food coma, absolutely delicious. Highly reccomend this place to anyone wanting a great feed. Have never left disappointed or hungry lol 10/10

The heating was not connected and it was freezing!! Cold drafts blowing in from the back. I would have thought that management would have sourced some alternative heating while they get their system up and running.

The place to be in Geelong for good Southern food and a dose of the blues. Pistol Petes is always a great time. Drop in anytime for some food or a drink, there might'nt be a live band playing but there's always blues music jumping out of the speakers.

Pistol Pete's has great atmosphere! Food was good but missing some flavour. Servings were huge and service was fantastic. A little difficult to find though.

Great vibe, yummy well priced food! Great to try different types of food. The chicken was delicious and you know it's going to be good when you could choose about 10 things off the menu which is why the tasting plates were great!

Southern American style food, pulled pork, southern fried chicken and a dish called gumbo which was to die for! Great to eat something a little different. Great service and atmosphere as well.

Food was delicious, adequate wait time for meals. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. We got a decent amount of food for 2 people for just under $80.

Greeted by a smiley face and exceptional helpful staff. Food was quick after ordering. And tasted great. Water could be added to the tables and the dessert menu expanded. Overall experience was great

Great food, lovely friendly service. The owner is hands on and that provides a fun professional atmosphere. They were happy to make changes to the meals on the menu to suit our individual dietary requirements.

The food was good as usual but we were sat under a leaky air conditioner that kept splashing us during our meal. When this was brought to managements attention they did not offer to relocate us all they did was give us some extra napkins.

Always a great night at Pistols, Food is always cooked to perfection. Tried the Chicken Waffles which surprised me, and great music to go along with it.
