Pistol Pete's Food & Blues

Great food, great service and great atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner, we hadn't been before but we definitely will be back. Highly Recommend Pistol Pete's.

Only put in down as it was so hot in the restaurant. Need a large fan to get airflow going as front and back doors were opened.

Great food and atmosphere. Waitress kept clearing the table a little too quickbut otherwise no issues. Amazing fried oysters! Heading to New Orleans next month so looking forward to comparing Gumbo there to Pete's.

Fabulous food, staff were very attentive and helpful. Atmosphere is amazing, always lots of people around and really nice when the live music is happening.

Great food, good service, fair price for quantity and quality of food, music was a real bonus and although not on everyone’s play list it topped off a great night.

The live music (by Alex Burns Duo) was fantastic! Absolutely made the night for us. Better than any live music I've heard at a restaurant. My partner had the Pistol Platter, which he loved. He said the fried shrimps were very delicious. I had the vegetarian Jambalaya, which was good but not amazing. Wish there were more (than 2) vegetarian options available on the menu, but it's southern American food, so it's understandable that the authentic dishes are meat based. Overall, we had a wonderful experience!

Great intimate venue with a good dose of The Blues and a good helping of Southern Food washed down with some local and USA craft beers.

Great service and delicious meals!! Highly recommended!! Definitely worth trying and the tasting plate was huge. I recommend getting one between two people and adding an extra piece of chicken.

Chilled out, great flavourful food, big portions, fantastic music, great atmosphere, not fancy no need to dress up (which is a good thing!) lovely outdoor area.

Great southern food, quick and friendly service, fantastic blues music. Almost worth the trip from Melbourne on its own. Geelong is becoming a vibrant location.

Food was underwhelming, we expected a really good meal and all 4 of us left feeling disappointed. Also very loud and not able to hold a decent conversation without a live band playing. We won’t be returning

The Staff are very friendly and helpful. There was great food, great atmosphere. My experience all around was amazing, defiantly would recommend again to friends and family.

Our table did not let us see the band so that was a challenge. Food and staff great. Venue is in a good central location.

Great venue great music and food always good value and tasty

A family of 5 for an early dinner (3 teenagers), it was a very comfortable atmosphere and the menu extensive, staff were lovely, I requested for the music to be turned down as it was a little loud (my husband did not agree!) when there were not too many there, staff obliged which I appreciated. The chicken waffle with candied bacon was quite bland, although the bacon was handed around and disappeared quickly. The mojo burger with a huge pickle on top was the best option and the voodoo sauce living up to the expectation of heat. The Chicken BLT was quite good, it was a little bit dry and low in spice, with a bit more mayo or other sauce it could improve. All in all it was a good family outing and I would definitely give other options on the menu a try and will be back with friends in the future. We left before the evening music began so can't comment on that. I also enjoyed the bigger space.

Great night. Chicken was fabulous as usual. Music was unbelievably good. Really enjoyed whole evening. Felt music was on a little too late for a week night. But nevertheless was fabulous.

Reasonably priced , food excellent flavours and plenty of it, would definitely go again. Some table service would be nice. Still would definitely recommend, family friendly early in the evening but not sure later when music starts.

Pistol Pete's all around experience never fails. Food, music, service and atmosphere is always 2nd to none. The more times I go the more that I want to.

Good food, good drink selections and a good atmosphere. A bit pricey for the food but overall a great place to go. Happy to recommend.

Good food, most excellent service, Southern beer, great atmosphere, good blues music to fill in the background. A great venue overall. What's not to love?
