Food was homely, with a distinct quality. The kitchen appeared to be struggling even though the dining room was at 1/3 capacity. The poor waitress was increasingly flustered through the early evening, from smiles to snarls. It would have been helpful if the waitress could speak simple English, but perhaps, I should learn to Polish. Overall, decent experience, food authenticity is certain and I can see they are trying. For this price point, I'd still opt for Sto Lat at Ashfield.
Great efficient polite service with a traditional menu. Recommend the experience.
Great traditional food in a nice atmosphere, with excellent service!
We love going to the Polish Club for the authentic food and great atmosphere :)
FOOD WAS UNDERATED, UNFORTUNATELY ON 2 OF THE DISHES THE SALAD NEVER CAME OUT UNTIL THE MEAL WAS EATEN, AND THE SALAD WAS ONLY SHREDDED CARROT ? WITH THE PIEROGI IT NEVER CAME WITH SOUR CREAM DISSPAOINTED TO BE HONEST ATMOSTSHERE IS GOOD SERVICE WAS POOR AND NO MANNERS TO BE HONEST
The food was so so delicious ! Strongly recommend to everyone
The food was delicious . The chicken schnitzel is amazing and is one of the best schnitzels we have ever had . The cabbage role is divine and the salads are healthy and tasty .
Great service and food. Very clean and appetite dishes 😁
Food was ok. Service was horrible. The waitress really needs to learn how to say hello and smile. My dad tried to joke with her with no luck. She took 1/2 the order and left. I had to call her back and said can they order? She said oh I thought they already did. She meant the share pierogi plate which was already in the middle of the table. Once we ordered it took a while for the first plate to come. We told dad to start when the rest of the food was no where in site. He finished eating before the next meal came. Then another 5-10 mins before the next. Each person finished their main while we watched before the next main came. I had to ask how long the final 2 persons mains were going to be because 5/7 people had finished their food. Overall a 1/10 experience so unfortunately that was the last time we dined there.
My first visit. Went for lunch. The pork cutlet was superb, the potato pancake with Hungarian Goulash was excellent though the pancake was of a different texture than what I am used to. The texture was much finer. I'm a big eater & have the gut to prove it, if I knew the size of the meals I would've had a Starter. There was no dessert menu & wasn't advertised. I believe that they are under new management; I wish them all the luck in the future and look forward to a wider variety for the lunch menu.
Great experience, service is wonderful, welcoming and hospitable. We ordered Gołąbki (cabbage rolls) which was delicious & freshly made, fried pierogi was too oily though. Overall highly recommend.
