The meal was really nice I enjoyed it. I requested and inside table but were put outside with the sun at our backs which would have got worse in the next half hour. We did move inside in the end which was very cold to start with until someone asked for the air con to be turned down. We were kept waiting for our meal for over 45 mins which some of the older members were not happy. I asked 3 times for a glass of ice as I do not drink warm tap water which all we were offered. The water was not nice tasting and others commented on it too it was not just me. The ice never came in the end I ordered a lemon lime and bitters which came with 4 small ice blocks and melted very quickly. The weather was a warm day and ice cold water should have been offered. The table was being cleared of plates before some of us had finished our meal which should not have happened. A bit of a shame as the group were a bit disappointed and would not come again. Thank you

It is an absolutely beautiful setting with very friendly staff. 6/10 for food (had the seniors special). We sat outside by the lake which would be uncomfortable in hot weather but 29° with a breeze was lovely.

Beautiful ambience and lovely food. I brought friends who hadn’t been to the restaurant before. They loved the food and the garden and I heard from one of my friends that she’s bringing her children for dinner.

very relaxing lunch, good value and lovely gardens to walk through. Seniors card lunch for $23 gives you a main course, dessert and tea or coffee.

Service was very slow, if they improved that, I would have rated it a 6 as the food is fabulous. We asked for water a couple of times and in the end had to get it ourselves. Asked for dessert menu, took ages to arrive. Very difficult to get a drink refill.

Excellent service and beautiful food. Ordered the grilled barramundi on a bed of roasted pumpkin, capsicum and spinach with a garlic sauce, absolutely beautiful. Ramon's is now my favourite go to restaurant. Can't wait to try their breakfast.

Food was great. The surrounding gardens were really pretty. We weren't sure if it was self service with the water? The waitress told us it was but another waiter actually refilled the water for us.

Wonderful food, beautiful setting but service was appalling. Waited an hour for our main course which was lukewarm when it eventually arrived. Tried to order dessert but waitress avoided eyecontact. Many excuses given for the poor service but no reduction in bill offered.

Had a lovely lunch catching up with friends. Was a bit disappointed that we couldn't use our entertainment card as we had a few Seniors who got a cheaper lunch deal so apparently voided me using the card. There were still another 6 adults that would have benefited from the discount. Also to be charged $1.00 per serve (1 TSP) for tomato sauce to eat with your fries as part of your meal, l thought was a bit steep. But other than that the staff were awesome.

Lovely, family run restaurant. The team down here are always welcoming and accommodating, and the standard of food has been pretty consistent over the years. Give the high tea a go as well.

Devine food, friendly staff & enchanting gardens. We love bringing our kids here to explore the gardens and feed the beautiful koi fish. Recommend sitting outside of the weather permits.

We were enjoying the atmosphere, ambiance of Willow pond and the food was exceptional until a group of women came in and then the noise of chatter and laughter was dreadful. We could not hear each other and conversation impossible. Instead of having another coffee we left

Friendly, welcoming staff. Great food. We started with a Paris tasting plate as we all love the baked Camembert. Hubby and I had pepper steak pie (delicious and warming on a cold night) for our mains. The new menu has plenty of choice for all tastes. We will be back.

Very friendly staff, gorgeous gardens (but perhaps without the sound of a blower vac during the lunch service!). Food was a good size serve and tasty, well priced and fast. Would highly recommend Ramon's for a nice office lunch

Beautiful garden setting however was disappointed with the quality of food and menu choices. There was also very limited vegetarian options. I would recommend going there for coffee and cake and to enjoy the surroundings.

Very friendly staff but disappointing basic food. Fish and chips, grilled fish and ordinary chips not cooked enough plus the salad all on the same plate. Chicken pasta, very bland lots of sauce not much chicken or anything else. Very quiet for a friday night. Menu badly needs an update.

We were in for an early dinner and were the first diners. Over the next hour about 2 more tables came in. So clearly it wasnt busy with 2 waitresses on you would think we could get some decent service! Wrong. The waitresses chose instead to clean windows rather than wait on tables. I actually had to get up and go to the counter to get a wine to go with my main meal! Food was ok but the whole evening was saved by the beautiful garden. I wont hurry back!

The Fish Basket was a disappointment- squid rings were tough as rubber and the prawns, crab meat, fish all tasted frozen not fresh. I guess you get what you pay for- being a Seniors Lunch.

It was fun. Very helpful staff when we tried to split the bill. The pond out the back wasn't illuminated so it was hard to see the koi but otherwise it was good
