An awesome place. A yum cha/Chinese restaurant without MSG and with GF options is so thoughtful and is helping people lead healthier lives. Thank you so much. I am grateful to have been able to come to this amazing place and experience the delicious food and great service. We are from Sydney, and will definitely visit here again next time we come to Melbourne. 👍🏻😋

What a find! Good range of amazing dumplings, great service. Value for money is ok, maybe slightly more expensive than many others.

Food was beautiful, what we had was value for money. Staff where polite but not a very warm experience, they seemed to be like robots. Overall I recommend giving it a go.

Pretty much a good experience but there were spider webs on the outer section railings. Need to be a clean place if they want to place a table there.

Excellent food, my friend recommended we try it out. Due to restriction laws, very quiet, but the atmosphere was perfect. Front of house staff and the manager were very entertaining. The price of each dish compared to portion could be a bit better, but nevertheless, excellent food. Probably the softest kangaroo meat I have had in Melbourne.

The service was incredible, the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was a taste sensation for the soul. I highly recommend Red Emperor for anyone that loves incredible Asian food.

I have been attending this restaurant for over 20 years so naturally it was the number one choice to celebrate my birthday with my daughter today, it may be a different venue to 20 years ago but as per usual absolutely delicious, service is always spot on and we are always made welcome, so happy that you are open to the public again after the CoVID-19 restrictions.

Amazing food on sunday yum cha and and fantastic service

Food was absolutely delicious. Never tasted better salt and pepper calamari before! Service was also exceptional with lovely, friendly staff.

Food was very average in flavour and some of the dishes were tasteless. $60 per head for optional Yum Cha "All you can eat" is very over priced. No offers of Tea or Mocktails, coffee was terrible.

As always, exceptional cuisine served with great flair and the wine carte presents some great aged - as well as younger - wines. Bravo !

Food is ok, overpriced and they are in a hurry when your meal is over to usher you out and we hadn't really finished our drink. No customer focus and rude.

Long term diner and this was the first time we have been disappointed. Food great as usual but table service appalling.

Food took a long time to come.Paid $90 per head.Portions very small.Pork very tough, quail dry.Not at all worth what we paid.Wont be returning.

There was a male server who aggressively provided false information to us about the yum cha there, so we barely ordered food for the first hour until one of the lovely trolley ladies made the effort to bring us food.

Wide variety of succulent dishes, first class customer service, the restaurant always gave us the table with the best view available on all our visits, the waiting staff were always polite and courteous, never rushing us and often with a smile rather than many other restaurants where the waiters often carried a sour face, restaurant management are always welcoming and make you feel it, thoroughly recommended.

We were seated outside but it meant the service of Yum Cha was not being brought outside to us until we spoke to one of the waiters. Would say atmosphere and service inside would be better.
