It’s not a stretch to say this is the best coffee in North Adelaide, but what might surprise some is that Red House Cafe’s beautiful brews are only the top of the iceberg. It’s a very homely place, in the rejuvenated railway station on War Memorial Drive with cool, quirky decor, relaxed but attentive staff and even a vintage clothes store that holds plenty of good finds for men and women. Despite looking like something from an elegant restaurant, the food also has this homeliness about it, be it their popular all-day breakfasts, an ever-changing lunch special or of course the delicious cakes, tarts, cannoli and creative muffins always on display.
