Absolutely fantastic Thai fusion place with excellent service in nice surroundings

a little slice of heaven in terms of food but its a bit lacking in atmosphere

Food was okay the beef rib was cooked well. The service was extremely slow and we spent most of our time just idly waiting for food to arrive

The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend for any couple wanting a good night out. Big portions so I would recommend sharing the meals

As someone who finds Thai restaurants to be lacking any variety, Moon is a real treat. Quality food full of Thai flavours and fragrance. The staff were super friendly and efficient. Best of all though was that our group of four ordered eight dishes and our bill came to about 60 Bux each. The standouts for me were the pork and chicken small plate, the beef short rib and the Pad Thai.

Very good Thai food; a cut above most. Good service also. The wine list is decent and fairly priced. Parking nearby can be difficult but worth the effort.

Overall experience is excellent. Nice food with good service. The dishes are very creative and chic. Staff members are attentive and make us feeling welcomed.

Each mouthful was a flavour sensation. Chef has created a fascinating tasting experience that we’ll never forget. Staff were attentive and contributed to ‘Moon’ atmosphere.

Read some pretty good reviews, and some "not so good ones" but still decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, we have to agree with the "not so good" camp. Food was overall way too salty and some dishes had too much sauce (and unnecessary complication). Shows a lack of clarity and frankly experience and exposure. May suit people who likes salty, saucy food and think they want something "fancy". Definitely would not recommend for true foodies.

The food and service were impeccable. The beef short ribs are insanely good! The meat melted in your mouth! The crab fried rice and veges were amazing as well! Great ambiance and wine selection!!

Lovely flavors and friendly staff. Our favorite dishes were the beef ribs and the BBQ chicken skewers. Definitely would come back to try some of the other dishes.

Excellent twist of the Thai dishes with modern technique. Love all dishes that we orders. The dessert is amazing. Must try the Thai Pannacotta. Very nice and friendly service.

The food was decent but SOOOO bloody loud. The place is tiny and way too many people. Felt like I was eating in a market.

Moon is an excellent local restaurant offering superb modern Asian food. Service is great and the food sensational. Make sure you try some of crescents (small food) as well as the duck curry.

This is our 3rd visit. The pad thai and beef ribs are still as good as our first visit! The grilled octopus is our first try and it's very good too. Overall still very good

I had done some research and was very excited by the menu and reviews I’d read about this restaurant. Unfortunately I was completely and utterly disappointed. For the 4 of us, we had the chicken ribs, wagyu tataki, oxtail soup, bone marrow, pork and prawn for entrees and the pad Thai, beef ribs, barramundi, and the surf and turf for mains. To start off, everything was overly salty, over sauced and completely lacked the soul of Thai food. I get that it’s meant to be fusion, that’s one of the reasons I was so excited, but it missed the mark on nearly every level. Several items were so inedible we sent it back and the few dishes that were edible were tainted from the previous ones. To be honest, I’ve had better Thai food from our local Chinese takeaway...

Food was delicious. Had the Beef ribs - so tender you could cut it with your fork. The Duck also had great flavour. Only drawback was the restaurant was quite noisy.

The food is innovative and beautifully presented. Try the duck. The noise levels in the restaurant (too many hard surfaces) spoils the overall experience. I know we are not the only people who have who have experienced this. It needs to be addressed.

Very interesting food. It can be better if they allow the fresh ingredients speak for themselves. Each dish has too much going on and missed the core flavour I want to experience. Such as sea urchin, if they didn't add Tom yum powder, I would be a able to taste the creamy freshness from the sea urchin. Like the Wagyu beef, it was overcooked. Felt like we have wasted the premium ingredients. Other than that, service was great and we love their cocktails very much. I love the dessert as well, beautifully presented as an art.

As a young family (we have a 1 YO) - it’s always refreshing to to goto a restaurant that is welcoming to little ones. The staff were attentive to our needs without being intrusive. And the food was well executed!

It was exceptional! Wait staff, food and ambiance were all spot on. The Angus beef short ribs were melt in your mouth and definitely a high light.

Great food, every dish was incredible. The service could use some improvement, for example being taken through the menu, suggested amount of dishes, etc. Also, when our dessert was about to arrive, the server put down spoons for us on our used napkins. Whereas at most other restaurants, the used napkins would be replaced with new ones, then new cutlery set down. This is nitpicking and I can't stress enough how good the food was.

Food was absolutely amazing. Would highly recommend this place! We had the ceviche, duck, pork hock, bok choy and dessert and all were delicious. Will definitely be back.

Really good food More advice and comments from staff would’ve helfpul about sharing. Desserts disappointing, as it seemed like a list of ingredients rather than shape or what it was. We wanted 2 desserts for 4 to share but too difficult, so we had more wine ibstead
