very good food, service, nice lunch at Ruby. only thing is my dad can't eat a lot due to sickness. so we wanted entre' service of pasta they wouldn't do it disappointing

This was my first visit and I will definitely be going back. We celebrated my dad's birthday and both dad and mum really enjoyed it.

Food high quality service veey good staff atentive and knowlegable on food andand wine menus. Ambience excellent. Value for money. Look forward to next visit.

We - four adults and one small child - went to Ruby Red Flamingo for a birthday lunch. The service was excellent - friendly and attentive - and the food delicious. Although it was a cold, rainy day and we were sitting in the covered area outside, we were warm as toast. A big plus with this place is that it is quiet - something that is quite rare to find today.

Delicious, well priced food, and big meals. Good wine too. Great attentive service. This was my first time there but are definitely planning on going back.

Cute, quirky little place, very popular even for Wed lunch. Great food! Little dumplings to start were so light and tasty as was all the pasta which is made fresh on site. Service attentive but not annoying. Will be back.

Relaxed give with outstanding food, always a pleasure. If you want good Italian with plenty of choice and quality this is your venue, the setting of an old house just tops it off.

Our first visit and we will definitely be back. Great selection to choose from, staff were friendly and best of all the food was lovely. Plenty more to still try from the menu so just working through the calendar to see when we can book again!!

I love the authentic Italian staff they always have serving. Great food and great service in a unique setting. I had the Ragu which was fantastic.

A great Friday lunch as usual. Ricardo & the team at Ruby Red Flamingo again treated us like we were at the family table. Quiet, efficient staff who know what they are doing. The shared plates (the best way to try out the menu) of superb food just kept coming. We will be back in a few weeks to be spoilt once more.

As Usual, a wonderful experience! Great food and service! Authentic Italian food, good portions and a great wine selection. Hidden from the hustle & bustle of O'Connell St- great for big groups or couples.

Lovely ambience in a casual setting both inside and out. Quirky with the mismatched crockery and blackboards everywhere displaying the menu. A fun place. Oh and the food is great, you won't be disappointed.

Great Adelaide weather, great outdoor venue, great food. The makings for an excellent gentlemen's lunch. There were five of us to celebrate a mate's birthday. The staff were friendly & efficient. We took our own wine (reasonable corkage charges) though as I recall they do have a a good wine list. The food is meant to be shared & this worked quite well between the five of us. The favourite was the polenta & spinach dish. The waiter was attentive & supplied us with excellent service. I am sure we will be going back soon.

Awesone food atmosphere and hospitality. Absolutely love love love this place. Amazing Gluten free options including dessert. Romantic meal, long lunch with the ladies/lads, quick friday office escape or business dining. Their finesse covers it all.

Booked in for a light lunch. Wonderful baked polenta dish and a glass of prosecco and a catch up with a friend. Could not fault the experience. I will be back with others!

Lunch al fresco on a lovely Spring day. Great food- delicious swordfish carpaccio, the polenta with spinach and cheese and a chicken schnitzel with salad-all lovely. Service prompt and helpful eg a perfect white wine recommended. A very happy dining experience.

We sat in the garden area, tables are well spaced apart with background music. Food was excellent, wine prices are above average however there is a $15 corkage fee if you can remember to BYO

Absolutely fantastic authentic italian food with great service. The arancini are delectable and everyone finished their meals despite being stuffed because it was so good.

It was great food in a great environment. The atmosphere and decor were quirky. I would definitely go there again and will tell my friends about it.

Fabulous food and wonderful service. I have been there a number of times, with a large family group including small children and for more intimate groups, but always fabulous.

Everything was delicious. Great service. We will be back. The veal scallopini was delicious and the chocolate and coconut panna cotta was the best we have had in ages.

Service was great and the guy serving knew his stuff. He knew everything on the menu and his knowledge of the wines was just as amazing . the food was amazingly beautiful. If you can't get in for dinner take a Wednesday off and go at lunch time.

Delicious food! lovely staff! Excellent selection of wine! I came in with a very grumpy baby and everyone was so nice and made us so comfortable and even helped entertain her thankyou!

Fabulous lunch. 2 of us shared 2 pasta dishes; the ravioli with beetroot and the mezzo mineche (pasta rings with prawns, pancetta, zucchini, saffron and chilli). Delicious, filling, fragrant, beautiful to look at. A lovely glass of wine, complimentary bread and oil, a lovely coffee and great service; a great way to catch up with a friend.

A group of 9 of us went for a Friday lunch and could not have been happier with the food and service. Staff went out of there way to make us feel comfortable and the share plates of pastas etc. were 'second to none'! thanks so much RRF!! We will be back :)
