the last 3 times we have been the squid has been verry poor but last night food & my fave squid was great but took us 1 hour to get our meal which was poor.

We love having a meal in Ruocco's Alfresco table at night. Great atmosphere with lovely service. We enjoyed wines, entries and chilli mussels. We had ever had anywhere beaten Ruocco's calamari fritti. Chilli mussels was also very nice with tasty source.

The staff were exceptional we needed to change table due to being a 35 degree day to inside, the staff accommodated without a second thought, and the lady that took our order and bought the meals was so nice and happy. A pleasant dinning experience. We’ll be backkkkkkk Shells 🐚

More than worth the drive after an i.promptu decision to book. Our compliments to staff and management, especially the chef(s), we thoroughly enjoyed our coming back here and shall do so again soon

Our family favourite ♥️ Great food, lovely service, always busy and it’s just so nice to sit outside on lively South Terrace! They even offer gluten free pasta. My daughter is coeliac and enjoyed a lovely dinner there this week!

We had such a lovely time at Ruocco's, we had an amazing waitress Dorothea serve us and made our experience at the restaurant ten times better. Such a lovely atmosphere sitting outside

Waitress was amazing and always kept us updated with how long our food would be. Food was full of flavour and great portions. However I would recommend changing the jugs. Because they have no spout it can be difficult to pour and had the potential to spill, esp when the jugs are filled to the top. Fantastic experience and will definitely be back. ☺️

Restaurant was not too busy but was quite noisy. Music playing in the background added to the nosiness of the establishment. At our table we had the steak which lacked taste and the grilled calamari was a little tough. Service was good and all air staff who attended us were polite, efficient and courteous - well done.

Visiting from the UK and sat outside. Manager was very welcoming and we impressed with the quality of the food and value for money. Good size portions and no room for dessert so will have to revisit.

Chilli mussels were great/tasty n spicy. Pizza was a disappointment.

Fairly noisy place, but it’s an Italian restaurant so what else would you expect? 😂 Choice of music was odd though, more suited to a sports bar. Having said the negatives, the upside was that the food was excellent, service fantastic and have to say one of the best meals we’ve had out in a long while. Well worth the money and will be worth another few visits to work through their menu, including the beautiful looking desserts!!

I've passed by this restaurant a few times on weekends and it's always very busy so I assumed it must serve good food. So I made a booking Very disappointed. I had the chicken putanesca...flavourless. I also had a 'Caesar salad'... it was not what I could call a Caesar salad... it was an olive oil salad... There are loads of other Italian restaurants in the area including Ginos... I will stick to them going forward.

Excellent service and great food. It was very noisy which made it hard for my hard of hearing daughter and elderly in-laws to hear conversation. Otherwise a great family restaurant.

It was a lovely meal with great service. The only thing that was difficult was the noise level. My father wears hearing aids and he could not hear us, so it was a disappointing meal for him.
