The food did not all come out at once, they brought out one dish first, and did apologise for the others taking another five minutes. However the first dish was not hot! I suspect they'd been holding it back until the rest was finished but then sent it anyway. The result was luke warm on the edges and nearly hot in the centre. The other food was steaming hot when it arrived.

Staff were great and took our order without writing it down! Professional.

This was our first visit to Ruocco’s and we were very impressed, the service was impeccable and drinks great value. The steak was good and overall we really enjoyed the laid back atmosphere from a busy restaurant😃we definitely will be back🙌

The food is amazing but they want me pay regarding of hot water for black coffee when we order coffee. I'm so frustrated. It is so ridiculous. $1 for hot water of coffee.

Waiters were quick to hustle for your order but slow to reorder drinks and take plates away. Food was hit and miss. The Frutti di Mare and Chilli Muscles were great, the crab linguini and grilled squid, not so much. We had been told that Ruocco’s was an authentic Italian experience, but for us it fell extremely short.

Hello! We have loved your food for so many years but each time we come (which is often) we can only book outside because the noise inside is often so unbearable we can’t sit inside. We have before left before ordering as it was so so bad. I can’t tell you how wonderful it was for the first time to sit inside as it was on a cold night benefit from the new soundproofing!! It has really made us feel so much less tense and stressed and more confident to come out and now go “next level” and bring my elderly parents. I can’t thank you enough!!!! We have so many difficulties with my partners sound sensitivity and hearing loss and migraines triggered by noise. Thank you thank you thank you for helping us have actual pleasant nights out!!!

Pizza bianca very salty. Steak was tender but fat hadn’t been rendered properly. Should have been crispy but it was soft & soggy in the mouth. Asked for sauce on the side but it came poured over the steak. Scallopini was okay. Altogether not as good a restaurant as it used to be a couple of years ago - we used to visit nearly every week before we moved house, quite disappointing. The staff however were very nice & food was served quickly. Also a generous sized glass of Prosecco, but won’t be returning any time soon.

The toppings on the Pizzas during this visit were somewhat lacking, compared to the same Pizzas on a previous visit.

Last night (Tuesday) Olivia provided excellent table service and was of good humour with her four elderly male customers. Forever helpful and informative and patient. Food was excellent. Regular customers (4 - 6 monthly), last night, with Olivia assistance, would be best for a number of years. Past experiences would be sometimes very negative. Well done

The food was great and the service was quick and efficient.

We visited as the restaurant was advertising chilli mussels at $20 on a Thursday night and we wanted to try them. The dinner was absolutely huge and so tasty. We ordered garlic bread and chips as well but it was definitely not necessary as the mussels and bread sticks were more than enough. The service was outstanding. Cannot fault this restaurant and will definitely be returning.

Food was good but I have seen a change in the amount of food given out decrease over the past years to a point it's almost laughable I got the scallopini which comes with chips and salad and the kids meals came with more chips and for 31 dollars that's not great considering their meals were 13

10/10 I would definitely go back ! Can’t wait to go back there.

We always enjoy Ruocco's. Good food and great atmosphere! We like sitting outside as we find it too noisy inside when the place is full, which it often is!

Entree was bruschetta. Was delicious, but too much on the bread. Better if it was kept more simple. My Italian boyfriend hates the dressing on top. Apparently that’s not Italian. The two pizzas were great, fresh ingredients, very well cooked. Dressing not necessary as it overwhelmed the other flavours. Excellent service. Delicious espresso martini.

Food is always delicious and generous. Service is attentive even though the staff are flat out. Wine is reasonably priced. Always a good night out.

The food was really delicious, i selected from the specials menu pork belly and scallops and was not disappointed, yum! the others at my table went for their usual parmi’s at Ruoccos, and loved them. The wait staff have been there for a while now as many looked familiar from our last visit, service with a smile and very attentive. We will definitely be back again 👍🏼
