Outlook is amazing, food and the service was also amazing. Will do it again for special occasions.

Very disappointed there was no seafood platter. We weren’t notified about this before hand. Even though it was advertised. $8 stubbies of beer even though they are part of the bowling club.

We were absolutely delighted with the Sandbar restaurant. It’s a beautiful spot , lovely friendly staff , delicious meals and drink prices were excellent. We will definitely be returning on our next stay at Evan’s Head NSW .

We had a lovely dinner with friends & everything was perfect. Food, service & cost was all excellent.

As always the service was delightful with exceptionally welcoming wait staff who made sure we were happy and enjoying our food from start to finish. The meal was divine, we started with oysters which we always love and the seaweed scallops melted in our mouths. Next we had the pork belly with Asian greens and the roasted pumpkin with the coconut dressing was the perfect combination. Seated and not given menus, had to get them ourselves. Entrees were good. Scallops were good but the eggplant parmigiana were inedible. Told the waitress and she did not seem surprised. Service from staff very ordinary. Will not be back.

The starters were great, the Brie and hot honey chicken. However the rib fillet meal was meh. The jui tasted like packet gravy? The potatoes actually tasted gross. The only redeeming factor was the broccolini which was scrumptious. A gorgeous view, but the menu needs a revamp! This restaurant has so much potential!

The head waiter is amazing at her job! I’m really impressed because the food and service were outstanding. I suggest order review when it’s been taken. The first visit we didn’t get the garlic bread till the end, and the second time, no salad I ordered (unless she didn’t hear) but we were overall satisfied and enjoyed the view and atmosphere.

Hi, we were totally amazed at the whole experience. The restaurant has a nice friendly, laidback vibe. The view to the ocean was just beautiful. The service was friendly, efficient, just nice. The food was better than we expected, the fish fresh as and the veg great. Overall we really enjoyed the night out there and we will definitely be back and tell our friends about it..
