Sassy Italian Restaurant

Aurelia and Pratik are professionals in every sense of the word. The restaurant is accessible to all comers and satisfaction is their aim. We loved their attention. We loved their menu offerings, I predict a very swift ascension to a “ must do” venue. Funky inner West Melbourne gritty location enclosed in an up-market modern thematic decor and furniture. Appropriate sound track too! Food is to be experienced and to love. Simple authentic Italian recipes finessed by a Chef who knows just how to do that! First visit was instant love.

After a 45 minute wait i checked on where our starters were, delivered to the wrong table. One starter ordered was delivered as a replacement, not the other two. Another long wait for mains which were ok. Restaurant was not busy with only one other table for lunch, although the other table was a large party. The head waiter/ manager is clearly out of his depth, I hate to think how chaotic things would be if the restaurant was actually busy. Service / food has to be quite bad for me to pen a negative review. I will not be back.

We had a team lunch at Sassy Italian, I hadn’t been before but trusted the food ratings online, and the food service and ambience didn’t disappoint! Highly recommend.

Amazing food, incredible staff & wonderful date night for us both

We attended the venue for a lunch to celebrate a birthday. We had previously attended multiple times with a different owner and at dinner time. We decided on the venue because of the beautiful selection of pizzas that we had tried before. Unfortunately we were unaware that there were no pizzas available for lunch service. When raising this with the owner, she was very understanding and accomodating. We had a range of entrees, mains, desserts and drinks. All guests enjoyed the birthday as planned.
