Shuck

I’m sure Friday evening is a great time to drink at the bar at Schuck, but maybe not to have a meal. Full of drunken loudmouth wannabes. I always thought that the side dishes came out with the main . meals..... not at Schuck. They come out after the meal. But I’m on the bright side, they didn’t miss us with the bill... never again. More like a countery than a restaurant. (Except for the bill)

Ladies had the crab lasagne & men the ribs & reef....all the food was exceptional... thank you!

The dessert was not the same standard as entre and main course!

Great food. Just what I was wanting. Service was also extremely good. Overall it was a great night out. Would recommend the place to any of you.

Although the food was nice, the service was poor and slow. We had to keep calling the waitress and it took her ages to serve us. She never asked us if we needed anything else or if we would like to have something else as welll as no recommendations...

Overall the food was average. Very disappointing considering the $100 spend per head. Good tempura oyster dish. And a nice but small prawn and coconut dishes. Overall mains small and strange favour combos

Beautiful food very friendly helpful service Great atmosphere Varied menu. Accepts discount card. Lovely view and very clean. We shall return to try other foods on the menu.

Food is good. Environment is nice. Not many people here for lunch during weekdays. Acceptable price. Sure will come again for a drink at night.

Excellent service, presentation and quality of food was exceptional. Despite a large group dining at the restaurant the waiting time for meals was very reasonable.

Shucks is first class. A very unique Resturant. Crab lasagne ... unbelievable Service ... 10 Atmosphere 10 Company 11 The rest ... doesn’t matter :)

We LOVE this restaurant! The service is great and the food amazing :) Their oysters and crab lasagne are our favourites. Nice atmosphere, highly recommend.

Great service, from Elenora, our lovely Italian waitress, unfortunately there was a mismatch between price and quality of food on this occasion. Maybe just a bad night as usually excellent.

Absolutely lovely meals all round as usual. The bugs were delectable, and the steak was perfection on a plate. We love Shuck and will keep coming back.

Great welcome on arrival, excellent service and great food. Selection of food and wine was good and a good selection of wines was offered We would like to visit again soon

A delightful dining experience, highly recommend it. Service was attentive and the food and wine was to die for. We have been 3 times during our stay at Main Beach.

Had king George whiting serving size a bit small. Wine list is a bit limited. Otherwise very good experience good service and atmosphere. Would go back

We were a table of 8 and all of us thought the food and service was terrific. We ate well, had a great Maitre 'd and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, which you cannot often say on the Gold Coast. Thanks

Great food & service well priced menu but did not have set n=menu on a Saturday night a pity because we enjoy the lunch set menus

Service was very poor.The attitude of the waitstaff was very bad,from the time we arrived we were made to feel like an inconvenience even though we had a reservation.Informed by rude waiter that there were no cocktails as bar had been closed due to it being so quite.there was no whiting or salmon.We were told due to it having been so busy over the weekend they were out of main menu items.There were no apologies just constant excuses.There was no ambience as the two waitstaff were more concerned with closing the restaurant around us and getting us out.Do not open on a public holiday if you do not want 'customers'!!!Very disappointing experience considering this was for a special occasion.Think the staff need a refresher course in hospitality and customer service.The only good thing was the food,sadly it was not enjoyed due to the service and poor attitude.Very dissapointing!Also just to advise on a health and safety issue,customers should not be served in the food industry by a waitress with painted 15cm long finger nails...disgusting!Shuck was a shock!!Third time I have been here and was the worst experience after having recommended to my family was appalled.

Highly recommend. From the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff to the quality of the food, our experience was first class. If you are looking for a wonderful dining experience you must visit Shuck.

We had two dinners at Schuck and were very excited about the quality of the dish meals. The gold ban snapper with Asian greens and XO Sauce was stunning.
