Consistently delicious food- the bento box is my go to dish with a combination of teriyaki chicken, teriyaki tofu and katsu chicken. Yum!

Tried the spicy tuna roll for the first time, it was quite tasty. The tempura prawn roll is still the best.

Food was great! They offer BYO on bottled wine which they charge a $20 fee and depending on how busy they are sometimes the charge is $10 a bottle. Inconsistent! Still the food is great and still cheaper to pay bottle fee than buy a glass of wine for $15 and 3 sips and it’s finished.

The food were quite good but a bit oily especially the tempura.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the food. We have eaten at Kadota previously, just over a year ago, and I walked out saying that it was literally the best meal that we had ever had. This time the new menu was nothing like our first experience. Nothing was 'wow' like last time. The food was still nice, but not amazing, and definitely not worth the price. Service was still great and the meals presentation was pretty, but the flavours just weren't there.

We are regular Shyun customers . The food never fails to disappoint. However we have resorted to coming on weekdays due to the weekend surcharge

Shyun is a family favourite. The kids love the katsu chicken bowl and we love the bento boxes and sushi. Always top quality. Just for awareness there is a Saturday surcharge of 5% and a credit card surcharge which is a new addition.

I had tried three different kinds of sashimi on rice in my recent visits. $18.9 diced sashimi $24.9 regular $29.9 premium The premium sashimi on rice is value for money in consideration of types of fish/seafood provided and the freshness. Paying the extra dollars is worth it.

I felt the menu was limited. I preferred the old shuyn. Very busy restaurant. They bought all our courses out at once. At a small table for two. I had to ask them to slow down. The food we ordered was good but I felt that some traditional Japanese items were missing. Also prices far more expensive than the old Shuyn

Had the assorted tempura soba, mega chirashi and tempura prawn roll. All are very delicious but the assorted tempura were crispy but a bit oily.

We enjoyed the food but the tempura was a little oily.
