It can sometimes be a difficult job finding a genuine taste of Thailand outside of Thailand, but not so if you’re in Brisbane and clued up when it comes to Siam Samram. Open since 2008, this gorgeous, authentically-decorated restaurant in West End sits proudly on Boundary Street and serves traditional Thai dishes with a few welcome modern touches. For lunch or for dinner, enjoy vibrant curries, expertly-seasoned meats and veggies, light yet booming soups as well as curious Thai-style salads. You’d also be wise to take Siam Samram up on their whole fish dishes, many of which are served with gluten-free sauces and garnishes. Brisbane, enjoy!

We dined on Saturday night, a table of 7. The service was lovely, friendly and knowledgeable. The outdoor courtyard area was cosy with warm heaters. The food was DELICIOUS!! Prawns were huge, sweet and juicy, spring rolls were just gorgeous and my green curry was so tasty with delicate layers and a generous serve. We can't wait to go back!
The first time I ate at this restaurant, if I closed my eyes, took away the inner city sounds, I could almost feel the sand beneath my feet and be transported back to another nation on my travels years earlier - the food here is absolutely wonderful time and time again. The staff are also quite exceptional.
Haven’t been to this restaurant for quite a few years, use to be one of our favourite. Somehow the food is not as tasty as it used to be. Very average this time
