Great food and good service. Highly recommend the chicken curry and the sharing platter (starter). Portions are quite large as well. Was impressed with the food - the taste was great!

The staff were friendly and helpful in our menu choice and flavours. The food was delicious especially the stir fried veggies and the Taro sticky rice pudding was scrumptious.

Both the service and the food were excellent. The friendly and relaxed atmosphere and the great Vietnamese food will have us going back for more.

AMAZING! Great for vegetarians and vegans. Amazing rice paper rolls, spring rolls and pho! Have taken all my friends here, everyone loves it. 10/10 so good!

Had a fabulous time at the restaurant. Ordered dishes to share- fried chicken dish, salt and pepper eggplant and rice paper rolls were favourites. The grilled snapper fillet was great for a main dish. Desserts also amazing. Flavour of dishes was superb and service very friendly. Great value for money.

Wonderful food and ambience as usual. We loved the service and high quality of food, even for vegetarians! Normally there is not much choice but at this little gem it’s fantastic.

Beautiful Vietnamese restaurant serving home cooked meals. Lovely atmosphere and nice design. The service was prompt and the food delicious. Very easy to find and plenty of on street parking in the evening.

Food was great & wait staff very pleasant & helpful. Prices were good for food & adjustments for portions to accommodate 3 people on the entree were easily made. Given the competitive nature of restaurants in the area I thought it odd they didn’t allow BYO (which wasn’t obvious from their website). Duck stir fry was beautiful & the pancakes were a surprise treat for our guest. Will happily go again.

ABSOLUTELY NO NAME TO BE MENTIONED PLEASE, IF THIS REVIEW IS TO BE POSTED/PUBLISHED. Lovely, tasty, fresh food. Easily some of the best Vietnamese dishes under one roof. Salad, pancakes, desserts were favourites, especially the taro bowl and the sesame doughnut. Service was prompt, very helpful and friendly.

My wife and I really enjoyed ourselves at Sò9. Great food, great cocktails and lovely service. Will definitely go back! Love a good Pho on a cold night.

I had the Bun Suong as my main meal and we had spring rolls and pancake to share. The Bun Suong were so full of flavour and it is definitely a good winter dish. Desserts is a much here :)

Superb food with amazing Pho and great Vietnamese pancakes. The drinks are good also with the sugar cane drink and watermelon, lychee and mint slushie being a big hit. Good service and very friendly staff.

Dinner for 12..great food and huge servings. Staff friendly. Staff knowledgable about the food & made good suggestions. Funky and fun. Kids fried rice healthy and tasty. Daytime food there is great too.

Having had good experiences at So 9 in the past, we visited again recently with friends visiting from the US. This time I am disappointed we chose the place. It was busy and full, but woefully understaffed for the number of guests. I remember the food being full of fresh, bright flavours, but this time the experience was quite different. The rice paper rolls in particular were a let down; my grilled pork roll was filled mainly with lettuce and cucumber, plus a strip of manufactured meat which was not readily identifiable as pork by appearance or taste. The Pho was quite decent, but the other meals chosen by our table were not as well enjoyed. To make it worse, our guests were Vietnamese Americans, and while they were polite, there were quite a lot of leftovers at the end of the meal and nobody made any positive comments. I don't like to leave a negative review, but this was quite an embarassing choice of venue, for which I had higher expectations. It's a shame because the restaurant is well fitted out, the atmosphere is good and the service is usually great. The quality of the food definitely let this experience down.

Nice atmosphere although layout meant space was a little tight, good location, easy (paid) parking, great food and service. The caramelised por belly was a little disappointing (not very tasty), but the vegetarian banh xeo and the bo luk lac (shaken beef) were just delicious.

Great restaurant, it is one of our favorites. The food is spot on and the staff are always friendly. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for great Vietnamese food

Ate at So9 when it girst opened 7 ? odd years ago and was very underwhelmed. Our daughter ate there recently and thought it was very good. We decided to give it another go last night and it really was fab. Been to Vietnam several times, done many Vietnamese cookng classes and love their food. Very authentic and really excellent food. Not sure if they changed hands over the years or just lifted their fame but we will be back!

Pancake great - i chose a couple of things which were not the usual things we eat -and we will go back to the usual dishes we eat as we prefer the taste from dishes we know -apart from that - everything was as good as always
