When I booked this place I noted it was my husband's birthday. They did nothing to say Happy Birthday. The main guy - old with a ponytail was super grumpy and rude towards us when we ordered. He even told my daughter to shush when she began to sing (she is 6 and it was not much and cute). We got charged a surcharge for a Sunday yet there wasn't table service to justify that (you have to go up and order and pay at the counter). They never checked if we wanted table water or if we wanted anything else. Overall terrible service. The food was ok but I would suggest the chips be on the side for the Olympus Plate as they end up soggy and were over cooked. The spanakopita was very small and not the usual shape or pastry consistency. The Greek large salad was very watery and the feta was crumbly and limited with 3 olives for $19. The Meat was good but you should get a choice of dips with the Olympus plate and that could be more generous in serving size for the price. With so many places struggling this place needs to lift its game to survive on Church St.
The waitress was friendly and patient. The souvlaki were super dry and Dolmades tasted old and stodgy. The rest of the food was good. Recommend the Haloumi it was lovely and the Greek salad was fresh
Lovely restaurant beautiful ambience felt like being in Greece. The food was also delicious
