The food is always great here, but unfortunately this time, despite asking twice, a wine cooler was never brought to the table allowing our wine to get hot and we could not enjoy the wine with our meal. Frustrating.

Very welcoming owners. Took the time to say Hi and thanks us for dining with them. Absolutely delicious food. Definitely will be back.

Nice venue close to the Powerhouse. Whilst the decor is basic, it is clean and tidy with a pleasant atmosphere. Staff are great and the food is excellent. Not a huge menu though it still has all the favourites. Very good prices as well. Serving size is quite good also.

We have been going to the Taj Mahal for over 15 years now. Despite the challenges of having to relocate with the original Restaurant burning down, the new location on Merthyr road is perfect. It’s in a little quieter pocket of New Farm and the new, wooden interior with fabulous apoxy door makes for a traditional experience. The food is superb and has not changed in all the years we have been there. It just gets better with time. The staff are attentive and it remains the best Indian Restaurant in Brisbane!

We ordered medium to hot dishes and they were both mild. Food was pretty ordinary!

Just a superb authentic Indian dining experience. The staff could not be nicer. Food was served promptly. All our chosen dishes (veg somosa, saag lamb, vindaloo chicken, garlic naan and fragrant rice) were delicious and full of flavour. Probably the Best Indian food we have ever had! Highly recommend a visit to this outstanding family run restaurant.

Second time here and slightly disappointed. Food was still good but overall experience let down by the service. We'd booked a table but there were non available so we ended up sitting on bar stools at the window. We were then seemingly forgotten about and had to request a menu..
