The service was very good, but the food was average. Not good, not bad. My wife ordered the wagon beef, which was very small for the $88 price, and I had the rib eye which was ok i guess. We both think we can get better meals for that price.

The food and service were excellent. Our birthday girl was treated well with not one but two little surprises. We were the only ones in the restaurant, so there was no waiting time or noise levels to be able to comment on. Thank you Tansawa for a very enjoyable evening. :)

Terrible service. Restaurant wasn't full but waited over an hour and food still wasn't ready, so we left without eating. Other people had been waiting longer than us and left without eating too. Really disappointed as we heard good things about it and really wanted to give it a go!

As always, very friendly and great service. Ingredients fresh and reliable flavours. We do wish the menu and dishes will undergo change at some stage… unfortunately, it is getting a bit tired, which makes it difficult to return when there are other more exciting restaurants available.

2nd visit to Tansawa in 2 months. Food is so good. Replaces Jun for people familiar with that Japanese. Highlights were grilled eggplant with miso, caramelised pork belly, really fresh prawns for the tempura. The agedashi tofu , spiced edamame aand soft shell crab, sushi were delicious. Food so well presented. most people won’t notice this establishment as it’s part of a small hotel but once you do, parking is easy as it’s close to the catholic cathedral in the city. Owner and staff lovely on both occasions. We all ate till full and had 1 drink. Bill was $200 which is great in todays climate

lady boss and waitresses were very nice. Sashimi quite fresh and foods tasty. Not too many choices though. Price a bit higher than expected. There is a bar downstairs, which is quite noisy.

the food is good but we went on a day when they are short staffed. We had to wait 2 hours for our food.

The service was extremely slow, it took 2 hours to bring us 3 dish's we where so very dissatisfied we cancelled the rest of our order payed what was owed and left

The chef, Johnny suggested the dinner menu as we were not familiar. It was a great healthy choice. We also tried the Japanese Beer, will recommend. I see this restaurant as a Hidden Gem in a quiet place. It was a 5 minute walking distance from our hotel (Novotel Langley, Perth).The restaurant is opened for dinner only.

Amazing food, sushimi was so fresh and delicious, pork belly with the ponzu sauce was the best! The staff are so friendly and attentive, lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be back for more!

We went on a Saturday night and the place was unexpectedly quiet that night with only a few tables. The food came out at a reasonable time and everything tasted great! Only thing I would mention is for the price, portions could be a little larger but still happy with the quality of the food that night. Customer service was great too!

Our favourite no fuss no muss authentic Japanese. Affordable, fresh sashimi and black cod that rivals any luxury restaurant. Not forgetting the wonderful Yuki-san - always smiling and personalized service.

This Japanese restaurant has the best food! I cannot recommend it highly enough, the atmosphere is relaxed, the service, friendly and efficient, but it’s the food that brings me back every time.

The food and service at Tansawa was fantastic. The staff were very helpful, friendly and professional. We ordered different meals but shared them as they were so interesting. Very over priced and also quantity is lacking. The tempura wasn't crispy but soft and soggy. $16 for 2 pieces of sushi is very steep. 4 pieces would have been much better
