Temple Thai Restaurant & Tuk Tuk Bar

Unique and beautiful area to eat and the food is delicious. Staff are very friendly and the service was prompt. I’ve eaten at temple Thai and tuk tuk bar 4 times now and every time has been great.

The food was delicious and the restaurant has nice décor and a nice atmosphere. But, it took too long to get both drinks and meals ordered and way too long (around 30 minutes) before our 2nd order of drinks arrived. Meal service time was very good though. The time taken to pay for the meal at the cashier was also excessive although there may have been a problem with the eftpos machine that caused the slowness.

Lovely staff though we felt a little rushed. We had booked a table for 5 people and it was quite small so the plates were crowded on the table. Food is always tasty. We really enjoy sitting outside in their beautiful gardens.

Wonderful setting in the garden and excellent food and service. This was our second visit and we will be back again for sure and will be recommending to other friends.

I wanted to choose a nice restaurant to celebrate my mum’s birthday. Temple Thai has lots of good reviews about their foods and friendly service so I decided to give them a try. Bad mistake! The service was slow and waitresses was unfriendly. Larb chicken balls was over fried, Pad Thai was soggy, Prik Khing pork belly was very salty and the kids meal noodle was spicy so my niece didn’t eat it. To top it all off, the waitress did not smile or say thank you when I went to pay the $300+ bill. Never going back there again.

The meals were delicious and ample in quantity. The service was friendly, courteous and efficient. Our table had a nice view out to Park Road.

Had chicken larb balls, beef panang , chicken cashew stir fry and coconut rice all of which were excellent coconut rice in particular was the best I have ever tasted. Service was great as well will be back for sure

The food was great - really tasty and well presented. The servings sizes are generous and the offer of takeaway containers was gladly accepted. The staff are fun - had a laugh with us and added to the enjoyment

Great selection of Thai food. The lunch special selections are good value. Will recommend for office gathering. Staff are very helpful and with their traditional clothing makes you feel like dining in Thailand.

My friend and I ordered the red and green vegetarian curries with rice (not included approx $4.90) so the total cost was around $25.00. The vegetables in the curry were nice, but overall it was a pretty basic curry and very expensive for $19.00. Also the rice was bad, it was not the nice fluffy rice you usually find in a Thai restaurant, but just tasted like day old supermarket rice. We sat outside and the atmosphere was nice, and it was a catchup with friends so luckily we didn't dwell on the quality of food and the price too much. I'd suggest going during the day as the lunch time specials are better value for money.

The food was delicious and the restaurant was lovely. Service was a bit slow, but this have been because it was a busy night. However, we still had a most enjoyable evening.

Service was SO poor. The food was ok but won’t be coming back again ever!! I was quite embarrassed as we took our guests from Canberra there. The two waitresses who served us did not acknowledge when we placed our food and drinks. They didn’t even look at us when the responded to our questions. It was truly astonishing to experience wait staff who had absolutely no care factor in serving customers!!

Lovely meal, nice atmosphere. Waitresses could have been a little more attentive about water after meal but no big deal was still a very enjoyable tasty meal. Pork skewers were delicious!

Great food, music and atmosphere. The hot food is really hot. It almost feels like you are in Thailand with the beautiful decor, waterfall and statues. Great place to try.

My extended family and I had lunch at Temple Thai. We were surprised how spacious the restaurant was and it was nicely decorated with a tropical feel at the back of the restaurant. The service was very good, the food came quickly. The waitresses were attentive and friendly. We ordered 10 different dishes, all were really well presented and delicious. The food portion was reasonable and price was comparable with other Thai restaurants. A great find. We will be back.

Good sized and well flavoured mains. Tom Kha seafood entre over cooked and under flavoured. (Have said all I need to say thanks all the same)

food and service is good but some drunk guy from the bar is yelling all the time and throwing glasses to the dining area which make me and my friends so freaked out the whole time, and the piece of glasses is found on our table

The atmosphere is great and loved the outdoor section. Absolutely enjoyed the food and it was a good experience, service was great. Good place for a date night.

Food too sweet and meat slightly tough especially the pork but lovely ambience and great service. The spring rolls and sweetcorn fritters were very nice

The garden setting is delightful, the service friendly and efficient and the food is delicious and good value for money. We like the fact that it is open on Mondays when many places are closed and you can bring a bottle of special wine from home to have with your meal.

We had a birthday lunch in this restaurant. Service little bit slow. Dried food left on plate. Food is not bad. The outside dining has lovely setting.

Staff great... but 2 of the people at the table had pork belly and it was so salty they couldn't eat it. My duck was lovely though.

The service was great. Many gluten free options and they seemed to understand cross-contamination. Very reasonably priced. Will definently recommend and return. BYO for $3 per head which is good value, although the drinks are very reasonably priced.

Great food. Average Service. Toilet facilities inadequate and does not meet Department of health guidelines. BYO Option but unfortunately does not include Beer.Vety dissapointing .

Food was good, atmosphere great and convenient location. We were disappointed that they still use plastic straws in there drinks. We specifically asked for no straws in our drinks and still received them, even 2 in one drink. Straws and plastic waste are polluting our world and we all need to take steps to avoid one use disposable plastic. #waronwasteAU

Great service - after ordering, food arrived very quickly but this did not affect the quality of the food. All of our meals were delicious! This is my third or fourth time dining here, and will continue to do so in the future.

Another great lunch experience! The staff are quick and very accomodating and the food is always enjoyable with good sized portions. I would definitely recommend this place.

It has really good value lunch specials, the food is tasty and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Some of the photos on the wall looked just like the young Thai boys that have just been rescued from the cave!
