Temple Thai Restaurant & Tuk Tuk Bar

The food is really yummy. The location and setting are great (it's like a little oasis in the garden area. The service is always friendly. We love it here.

Great food, initial service was slow, but once ordered the food and drinks arrived pretty quickly. Recommend the Tiger beer and if you like spicy food it is a hit. :)

Food was excellent. Service was a little slow at first as we were at a table behind a post. Once we were remembered the service was then good.

Put out back with giant fan blowing on us. Girls who meet can’t speak English. Seafood combination dish not worth the money. Probably won’t go back. If it had rained half my friends would hav got soaked

Great little place, slow service at times but the food is always great and fairly authentic. The restaurant is very nice but the bar at the back is a better atmosphere.

Have been to Tuk Tuk a few times before, and always enjoy the food though service can be hit and miss . Food is delicious , generous serving sizes and reasonable priced. Great place to have a few drinks as well.

Nice location - get in early to park, good waitresses, fast to serve entrees, however slower in serving mains. Has split bill. Lovely restaurant overall.

Having returned the Temple Thai again after our first visit in Feb 2017, we have to say that it felt that a new Chef may have been employed by the restaurant, because, the food was ok "BUT" was nothing like our February experience. This time it lacked that real "Thai Flavour" and the punch that Thai Cuisine usually demonstrates. It was actually a little bland if I was to be totally honest. There was also no Whole Barramundi available which was a thorough disappointment to my wife, in being that was one of the main reasons we came this time, because she so enjoyed the Barra on our first visit in February. Most of the staff were very friendly but there was one that possibly could have smiled and been a little more accommodating to the Diners. Overall, the night was pleasant but the food flavours as stated before, really lacked in some areas and needs some serious looking at.

Rushed service, no authentic flavour, staff was not accommodating, tried to sit us in the corridor, then moved us inside and changed our table again

The environment is quite good and the waitresses are very helpful. The food is good too. Nice place to have gatherings, better to go at night:)

Great service where we didn't wait around too long for our meals and we weren't rushed either. Beautiful food too. And an extremely nice setting inside or out. Worth sitting in the bar upstairs for a drink or two before getting started.

The food was excellent, spicy but not too hot, distinctive tastes. I reckon this is the best Thai food in Brisbane. The service was attentive. And a great venue.

Wonderful atmosphere in the garden section. Drinks in Tuk Tuk bar well priced and different made a good start to a very tasty drunken noodle and green curry main meal.

We had a really wonderful dinner here. The bar/outdoor seating is perfect, with a very relaxed and tranquil atmosphere. The service was good, and the meals arrived very quickly. The food is decent and tasty - not the best Thai in Brisbane but pretty good. Would highly recommend for a night out with a small group of friends. We'll be back!

Always good food - coped really well with 4 different food allergies/dietary preferences/intolerances with a group of 12! Regulars here, but friends and family now frequenting as well!

The food was good and the welcome we received from the bartender was inviting - he was friendly and escorted us downstairs to our table. The service was then quick and efficient but the waitress had a great deal of difficulty understanding what we we wanted to order. After we finished our main meal, we were not offered dessert or coffee, everyone seemed to disappear and it seemed as though they wanted to close and go home.

We love visiting Temple Thai Restaurant. The food is consistently very good and is excellent value for money. The service is always efficient and friendly. The garden area at the back with plants, fountains & lanterns is just a few steps from busy Park Rd but a million miles away in atmosphere! And what a delight to find that such a pleasant place to meet and eat is open on Mondays and allows diners to BYO wine!

Terribly long wait for our food - over 1 hour! And the staff forgot some of our entrees too. Not good service but food was fine.

Kind & helpful staff, great food- lots of spice & flavours & strong cocktails! We even got take home containers. Really happy & will be back. 😊

Restaurant has a nice feel to it. Staff are friendly, helpful and plentiful. Seated straight away and order taken quickly. Staff helpful in confirming which meals were gluten free (lots of options available and menu is marked). When our drinks hadn't arrived while we were eating the entree we got a staff member's attention and they attended to it straight away (something had gone wrong with the original order). Wine by the glass was a decent quality. My husband had thai fish cakes for entree - tasty, plentiful with salad and dressing. I had chicken larb balls - tasty but dry and no sauce or accompaniment. My husband had a prawn curry for mains - plenty of large prawns and good quantity of sauce. I had seafood ginger stirfry - prawns, mussels and calamari with heaps of veges and mushrooms - tasty and plentiful. Both went well with the coconut rice. We finished our two course meal in an hour and the whole lot including a wine and beer was $73 using an Entertainment Book voucher. Very happy with food (apart from dry larb balls), drinks (once we got them) and service. Would definitely return and recommend the restaurant to others.

The food was yummy. You can choose to sit out in the Thai style garden or the air-conditioned restaurant. It is always consistent and the staff are extremely accommodating

The atmosphere was really cool, service was great and the food was PHENOMENAL. I got the Suki stir fry, which has all kinds of seafood that are all cooked to perfection. Mixed with some noodles, greens and a lovely spice, it's probably one of my favorite dishes I've had in Brisbane! My wife got the Pad Se Ew and we shared some pork skewers, both of which were also fantastic. I couldn't recommend this place enough!

Good quick and friendly service. Great food and all in a very nice setting. Have been here a few times now and will be back.
