the food were good, service was great... most important, my friends who were there for the first time was impressed! great times! looking forward to my next visit

Celebrated my 6th wedding anniversary in thai pothong, enjoyed the yummy food and great services , such a friendly staffs and sweet smiles. Loved it when they didnot mind taking our photos. felt loved and cared.

Food and service were good but it was too loud for conversation. In a group of 5 there was always at least one of us that couldn't hear.

We had a wonderful dinner at Thai Pothong. The service was great, waiters friendly and lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be going back again. I recommend Thai Pothong

Thai Pothong is our favourite restaurant. The staff are always courteous and happy and treat us specially, each time. We always and for years have had our birthdays at the Thai Pothong and will continue to do so as long as we can. Recommended for a restaurant with the finest Thai food.

Food was delicious and service was excellent as usual. We had Coconut seafood and Chicken cashew nut at first, then polished these by Soft shell crab. I am taking off 1 point because the first dishes were not warm enough as suppose to be - they were delivered so fast that we had a feeling that they were prepared previously and cooled down.

Thai Pothong Newtown is one of the most delicious experiences you'll have. They don't just have wonderfully seasoned and thoughtful dishes, they pair that with service that's polite, friendly and genuine. My wife and I have dined here perhaps 6 or 7 times in the last 10 years and they've been consistently high quality in terms of food and service. We tend to try dishes that are off the beaten path and discover new flavours in the rich sensual world of Thai cuisine. Do yourself a favour and be adventurous when you order at Thai Pothong. This night we ordered the Chilli Steamed Scallop, Coconut Seafood, Yellow Chilli Chicken, Barramundi Salad, BBQ Pork and Massaman Lamb. We only had little bits of each dish because we're into trying different flavours. Lots of delicious leftovers at a very reasonable price for such a sensory feast.

Wonderful authentic food and amazing service. We were provided with the dinner vegan menu and they were willing to accommodate even though it was the lunch service. Also children were very well taken care of there.

We love this place. The service is always so friendly and they always ensure you are looked after. The food was delicious - all of it. The BBQ pork - one of our favourites. However, the green chicken curry and pad see ew were also great. Great place to catch up with friends or to grab something to eat before a show. You won't be disappointed!

Lots of choices on menu, have vegan menu too, excellent customer services, friendly staff, yummy thai food, very nice ambience, a gem in Newtown. I highly recommended it!

As I have come to expect from Thai Potong, a wonderful experience! I do not think I could fault a single thing. We'll be back!

This is a great venue. It is very close to public transport, Newtown station. The food is amazing, I highly recommend the Phuket banquet if you are heading to dinner with a group of people.

Thai pothong is our favourite restaurant. Best food, service, and atmosphere in Sydney! They also serve really nice mocktails and really look after the kids.

Great Service and Fantastic Red Duck Curry. Would recommend Thai Patong to anybody in Sydney, you will be pleasantly surprised. BYO Wine is a great plus as well.

Fantastic - Best Thai restaurant in Sydney. Very good food at reasonable prices. Child friendly - They always provide helium balloons and coloured pencils to keep them occupied!

Great experience, baby-friendly restaurant. The food was fast and we the customer service was friendly. The food is as expected, Asian food in Australia is always too flavorful than its original it's either a bit saltier or a bit sweeter. All in all, we enjoyed eating there and would go back
