The food, service and atmosphere at Thai Pothong is phenomenal. We have loved to frequent the restaurant for birthdays and anniversaries over the last five years. A special thankyou for the beautiful and plentiful vegetarian menu. Certainly the best Thai in all of Sydney. Incredible value for money as well. Thank you again Thai Pothong! Xx

One of the dishes we ordered - crispy pork with chinese broccoli barely had any pork in it. We did bring it to their attention at the time. It was just so disappointing.

Overrated, inauthentic Thai food (you can find much better in elsewhere in Sydney), and crazily noisy.

Love Thai Pothong Newtown. One of my favourite Thai restaurants for sure. Beautiful dining area. Friendly staff. Fresh tasty food. Huge menu, with great vegetarian options. My daughter loves it for the kids meal, drawing, balloons and kid friendly waitstaff.
