Went for dinner and the food was amazing- tried the burgers and they were juicy, tasty and yummy.

Came in to celebrate my girlfriends 50th birthday, she came from Tasmania to come to Sydney to celebrate. Food we ordered was fantastic, came out in a timely manner. We had plenty of room & staff were very accommodating.

The front courtyard is a nice place to sit for a meal and drinks, looks out to the fountain and the heart of the cross.

Nice quiet bar not too crowded and not deserted completely.... great food and music !!!

Nice place. Food good. Loved the baked bread! Drinks wise: the Red Luke Passion was undrinkable. I’ve tasted medicine better. Otherwise, cocktails were great!

Why are specials still showing on your website if they are not available? Very disappointing as that was the reason we made the booking. The service staff were not friendly, they did their job but appeared like they didn't want to be there.

Dinner was great! Easy to book, had a great big table at the back, and food was delicious.

Staff very pleasant, food was amazing, coctails were lovely, only reason I cant rate the whole experience any higher is because the entire bottom floor and stairwell leading to the bathrooms smells like a mens urinal, also our plates were not cleared from our table untill after we left, we even had another drink before leaving. Apart from that was a great day, burgers are really yummy!

Loved the revamped Bourbon!!! I have t been here since it’s old glory days and it has changed so much (for the better!). The lamb cutlets were delicious, the live music was fantastic and it was a great location in the centre of the Cross. Loved it!

We had a group of 20 and the staff need more training. They had most of the orders wrong. Forgot an order. Was very confused when we were ordering one by one. Had issues with us picking up our own cutlery from the public area where the cutlery was stored but didn't give us enough either. Not a good experience for a nice place.

Ignored for 5 minutes then literally got the roll of the eyes when we said we’d book, told, find yourself a table. Eventually a waitress took us to an outside table that was awful. The pub was not only crowded but noisy with the added deterrent of a singer (a very bad one too) performing. Given no menus so we left. Don’t go here, it’s not what it once was, in fact the whole of the cross is now almost derelict

Meal was fine for the money we paid. Staff were attentive

Music was a bit too loud in the restaurant part. You couldn’t have a normal conversation.

Quality of food was really bad. We ordered steaks (medium rare) but both of them were clearly well done. Don’t order steaks here.

Was quite which was a bonus. Staff were friendly, atmostphere was nice (although a little dark) and they had an acoustic singer there which was lovely. not too loud so could still talk but created a really nice vibe
