OK, Well I was pleasantly impressed. Drinks were a bit pricey but I can live with it for one night. It was my wife’s farewell to her work colleagues. Lots of laughs and happy reminiscing. We have lived in the next suburb and this is the place we visit. The food was above standard. Thank you kitchen.

Table was meant to get booked but didn’t (it was in the system), but there were a few tables free luckily on the day in the spot we had requested. and experience was otherwise great!

It’s a beautiful setting and we spent a pleasant afternoon, however, the salads were mostly lettuce and spinach and the Thai beef salad was nearly all noodles....the 2 hot dishes looked really nice so we will be back but will order a more substantial meal next time...staff were very attentive

Great spot for lunch with friends we sat on the front balcony and it was great . I was happy with my hamburger but the friends who had the Thai beef salad were very disappointed.

Don’t quite think they are ready for brunch yet. Meals were ordinary, eggs not fresh and staff hard to find. We were a group of 4 and none of us would hurry back. Disappointed as I have enjoyed lunch and dinners there in the past.

Food poor- not worth the price, felt the meals were very overpriced and we had to wait for nearly an hour for the food to come out. Drinks and service of drinks was poor. Lemon, lime bitters was so bitter we couldn't drink them. Bar staff were rude and seemed confused with who they were serving.

The steak was delicious. All 4 of us cleaned out plates. The service was friendly and helpful. Dessert was delicious too. We were like locusts at the table.

Friendly staff, no queues for drinks, free face painting :) fantastic. Also the chips were delicious! Food came out quickly and was overall pretty good

Love the Como Hotel, great atmosphere and love the food. Celebrate led our wedding anniversary last night. Family friendly with views of the George’s River, my favourite pub.

Great menu & service. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal. The water views are lovely with options to dine in or out. The cold seafood platter was fresh and well proportioned. We are keen to try some of their midweek special deals.

Steaks and snitchels are good, the Thai Beef Salad was ordinary. Outside area has a nice view and a great place to catch up with family and friends.

Great historic pub with good food, lots of beer choice and 30% off steaks tonight. Water views from veranda. Did clear out a bit early though.

it was great and I always know we can go there and have a good time. Food is always lovely and I feel at home when we dine there

Great food with good friends. We weren't rushed. Had time to chat without feeling like we were being pushed out. Casual dining in comfort. Will go again.

Quick service, delicious food. Staff were friendly. Was able to make my booking online. It was very busy but we still got our food very quickly etc.

The food was great with a good menu to select from. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel is located in a beautiful art of the world and we were able to park on site.

What a lovely location! Love the outdoor courtyard and balcony. We'll be back when it's not raining. Just my steak wasn't cooked to my liking. Might ask for rare to get medium next time. Everything else perfect. 👍

Beautiful meals Salmon and lamb rump were delish. View and atmosphere in the outdoor area is great but the desert and coffee was definitely not their forte !

A good choice of wines and a varied menu. The restaurant is very pleasant and the tables are not too close together. I like the historical aspect of the burned door.

Food was very nice (most were $20 something). Service was friendly and prompt. (Ordered at the desk.) Dishes cleared when we'd finished. Lovely view outside.

Lunched with a group of 10 at The Como Hotel on Sunday, booking ahead was easy, quite a few reserved tables for groups so would definitely recommend booking on the weekend. Was very busy so food orders took a while to arrive but we were there to catch up and chat so that was fine. Everyone was happy with their meals, generous sized servings and delicious food. Coffee and dessert orders got a bit mixed up but staff were very friendly and accommodating. The Snickers cheesecake and Cappuccino cheesecake were standouts!

Always enjoy thr testaurant everytime I go there. Relaxing setting and food comes out quite quickly. I ordered the salmon, it was quite salty but very tasty. The meal was a good size.

The food was lovely. The staff worked hard, and there were a lot of customers - the place was full. It was a colder day than expected and we were at a fairly breezy table next to the children's playground (someone had to sit there!) All good ... our only issue was that we had booked for eight and were put at a table that seats six. However, we have eaten at Como Hotel before, and on a warm, sunny day it is usualy a top experience.

We made our reservation online and the process was really fast and simple. Great location with a lovely view of the river. All of our meals were delicious!

Food was excellent there were 13 of us with no complaints at all. Service was also great and the staff were friendly and professional. Recommended

The Como hotel is not the place it used to be, cold food and rude staff with a chip on their shoulder, After over ten years of frequenting this historic place, they have lost my friends and I as customers.

Great staff, very obliging. They moved our table due to poor weather. Fast service Great extensive menu and food fresh. Lovely atomisphere. Really enjoyed our evening.

Lovely venue with views over the water. Service was ok but the menu could do with more gluten free choices. Onsite parking is a plus.

Eleven of us went for lunch and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. We had a great table inside and were very happy with that because it was quite cold outside.

Had brunch. Food and coffee was great. Chilly morning but beautiful in sun on deck with view. Was hard to leave. Good offerings on menu. We had zucchini fritters with poached egg & avo smash with bacon sides. Serves were large & food fresh.

The location and surroundings was nice. The waiting service was very good. Ordered with ease and they were served promptly. We enjoyed our meals, although we believe the steaks were over priced.

Received the usual good service. And the food was tasty too. Great location for lunch on a sunny winters day. My cousins were really chuffed.
